Just curious, have you actually called Ford to make sure your dealer did the ROVP process correctly?? Just because you get that confirmation email doesn't mean Ford accepted the order. Personally, I would call Ford if you haven't already.
You can find the same control panel cheap in a salvage yard. The following models used the same control unit. EcoSport, escape, bronco sport. You shouldn't have to pay more than 50 shipped and you cannot replace just the buttons, need to do the whole unit. The only issue you'll probably find is...
Wheels still fit you just need to use the original lug nuts from your Maverick or purchase fancy lug nuts made for the F150 m14x1.5. they use larger lugs I'm sure to keep with the payload capacity of the Maverick vs the bronco sport. It's a good thing
It's probably a chip hold, your dealer should be able to see the reason in their system. Others who have had the same issue have had their delivery date moved up significantly once they sorted out the chip issue. I think that 6/16 is just a worse case scenario date.
The person selling one for $100 on eBay probably jacked yours..... 🤣
You should be able to find those factory connectors to make your own harness. I'll look when I'm finished with my work day to see if I can identify the connector type.
You're talking on some deaf ears here. There are some socialist types here who believe that buying a very specific truck at MSRP is a constitutional right and think the government should intervene and force manufacturers to enforce MSRP. 🙄
My bad, I assumed it was the same as the 2.3 in the Bronco I ordered which is advertised 300/325. Not sure why there's a discrepancy between the Ranger and Bronco with the same engine.
Are you sure about that? I just think it's gimmicky the way it's been marketed by Ford. I've heard it referred to by many as a skid plate package with skid plates but as far as I can tell it just replaces the plastic under engine tray with a flimsy aluminum piece. Maybe you can enlighten some of...
I don't know if the 2.3 block is the same as what came in the Focus RS but I believe most high horsepower focus builds use the 2.0 block as apparently it's much more stout than the 2.3 block. Something else to consider......
Jalopnik used to be amazing, now it's overrun by social justice warriors and every article is politically charged. I used to read their entire site daily and now I haven't visited in years. I went there for info on cars, not to read ignorant political opinions.
Interesting in the unscheduled Ecoboost order thread there are people who ordered an Ecoboost through Chapman in October who still haven't been scheduled. That says a lot. I can't imagine how many people ordered through them in January when the order banks were closing.
I'm going with structure fire, vehicle was in a garage when structure collapsed. The panels are just too pristine for vehicular accident. Bends on the tailgate are consistent with something dropping vertically on it with metal bent out towards the back of the truck. Also the consistency of the...
