Very similar to what I would have written. I have about 1000km on mine. One feature in my Lariat that I would have mentioned is that I have dual climate control knobs....one that will likely never get used. I wish that was for fan speed selection like some of the other trim models instead of...
From Nova Scotia
I have been looking and haven't been able to find a soft tri fold in Canada.
I did place an order with autoeq.ca. Their web site said they had them in stock, they took my money but later sent an email saying it would be a 4 to 6 week wait. I quickly asked for my money back...
I had started another thread yesterday about driving in the snow.

In short the Pirellis Scorpions worked very good in thick snow...at least when they are new.
I'm still wearing shorts....maybe not today. Our weather can be quite variable this time of year. This weekend is supposed to be 12°C so about 54°F. Last week some nearby areas got 300mm rain or about 1 ft in 24hrs.
First significant snow since getting my Maverick. Only drove rear wheel drive Rangers for last 30 years so this AWD is a big change.
I still have the original AT tires on the Maverick. I have snows to put on just didn't get there yet.
There was enough snow on my road such that it was touching...
You can turn some of the tracking off by turning off the Sync. This I think is most of your personal data and movement. You will lose the ability to remote start and some other features. This is Ford's way of coercing us to accept data collection. I have chosen to turn it off for two...
I removed both big white/yellow stickers from the driver side visor. The one on the backside (roll-over warning) on the mirror flap is easiest as it is a hard surface. I did that one first to see if it would work. The front side is a little harder as you have to be careful not to stretch the...
For those who drive in city traffic I a can maybe see a small fuel saving but for me I am not waiting at traffic lights much so this feature is just a nuisance that I would like to be able to have the option to engage or not to better suit my needs and driving style.
I think learning a few good knots and a length of decent braided rope is better than trying to manage ratchet straps in most circumstances. I have both and I am more inclined to grab the rope for securing most items. Look up "trucker's hitch" and "bowline" for knots.
Ratchet straps...
Thanks as I did not make that clear.
I have turned Sync off so no more messages and I am sending less data to Ford. However the Terms and Privacy Policy states: "Uninstalling FordPass will not turn off sending data to Ford" so it seems some data always is being collected.
I have the same 2 pop messages when Sync is turned on. Every time the vehicle goes below about 10km/hr they pop up and stay on until speed is increased. That is very annoying and maybe even illegal as we are not allowed to text and drive in my province! I view these messages the same as if...
