I just did it last weekend on my new mav. I used CRC 06026 and sprayed everywhere including behind the wheel wells. I already used 8 bottles and still need to spray door and tail gate. I estimate 10 bottles will give you a good coverage.

On the video both the old and new damper sound the same. If this is indeed the source of clunking noise in Maverick then I won't be too concerned. It's basically the springs moving freely in the damper.

I just did it by following the video. Only tip is to get a good M8 tap. I was using some crappy tap from a cheap set and I almost broke it in the hole. Switched to a new tap and it went in like butter.

late April 2023 build date and still shows up as all clear on Ford recall website. Picking it up in 2 days so really hope it stays that way. Not concerned at all for the actual recall since I haven't heard anything like blown engine in a hybrid.
