ditto. I'm almost 3 weeks in with the new truck, driving to work and weekend 20km trips. Gas tank is just crossing the 3/4 mark. At this rate I'm gonna need about 10 tanks / year.
The hybrid is especially good for short trips to / from work, where I'm regularly getting 30-40 mpg. Before with a...
My dealer tied me in with financing terms (cannot pay off until 16000KM). This was apparently to prevent resale. I didn't care since wasn't planning on flipping the truck and the rate I got was amazing.
got mine along with 2 cubbies from a local dealer. No issues with getting those up here in Canada.
DIBL was an easy 1-2 hours install including cutting the holes for the cubby, just follow the video on youtube.
I had 0 experience, didn't watch any tutorial videos and enabling TSR took 10 minutes after I got the extended forscan key. Save the value before writing, take pictures with your phone. Worst case you can get the factory files from ford website.
Unlike other pickups with a big gap between the box and cabin, maverick doesn't have a gap there. If you mount a tonneau cover water will accumulate on the bulkhead until you inevitably get leak into the bed. The only saving grace is that the leak is typically on one corner so you won't get...
I got compliments from random passer by the first week I got the truck. Also caught 2 ladies walking by the driveway and discussing the truck, didn't know a cheap pick up could be a chick magnet lol. This week some random door-to-door salesman coming to our house and first thing he said is nice...
I measured the voltage again when the truck had been sitting there for few hours and the voltage actually went up to 12.8V, which is fully charged level for lead acid battery.
I think there must've been some electrical components still drawing power right after the truck is driven. This also...
I was installing an usb outlet with voltage indicator in my flexbed. The voltage is showing 12.2V.
Wonder if this is voltage straight from the lead acid battery? Seems kinds low to me. I've gotten 2 deepsleep messages last week but not anymore. Never an issue with starting the truck.
Maverick CVT has absolutely nothing in common with Subaru CVT. It's more like a electric motor / generator with very little moving parts. No metal belt unlike the subaru CVT.
Don't see the issue here. When you let off the accelerator the truck slows down very gradually, just like any ICE vehicle that I drove before.
Brake light will come on once the brake pedal is depressed.
Hyundai ioniq is another story, I think they messed up the regen algorithm and the car...
I once overfilled my accord and tried to suck oil out from the dipstick tube. The pipe will not go in. I think all modern engines got baffle that prevents you from sucking oil out.
Best thing you can do is get a set of ramps. Taking bottom shield down takes only 5min.
