I installed the Aeroskin deflector I got with the Ford pass points. It is barely noticeable. I wanted it though since my subaru's leading edge was as catered as the dark side of the moon. Its getting a SIBL installed tomorrow. Then on to a tonneau. Still debating on a hard trifold or soft roll up.
I wasn't aware that asking a question was whining, but sure. And coming from a subaru I have no complaints about the maverick. I know that I bought an economy ute and not some luxobarge
Is it just me or does the windshield get easily nicked/chipped? I don't mean giant chips, but little ones from sand/grit. I apologize if this has been discussed before. I used the search and couldn't find anything.
Was driving with my wife in the passenger seat yesterday and she goes "why does it sounds so bad(the music)?" I thought it sounded fine from my seat. Went into sound settings and noticed that it was set to driver by default.
I have to say that Chapman was amazing. I picked mine up on Saturday. I think it was Wednesday when Ashley emailed me that it was in but stated that it will be a few days for PDI. I asked if it could be ready ASAP due to my scheduled vacation. She then told me it would be ready by noon next...
Although I just checked the tracker and it is in final prep now, so just waiting on a call from the dealer. I know they have been getting alot of stock recently.....and not just Mavericks
Even when it makes it to the depot in De, get ready to wait. Mine has been sitting at the depot for almost 2 weeks now waiting for final transport to Chapman
I've had Lasfit and I have DD. One thing I notice is that the DD bulbs are constructed better and make the lasfits look cheap in comparison. Having said that, the only bulb I've had a problem with is the DD(the diode separated from the housing). I will say though that DDs customer service was...
I've had to use Ford chat to follow my Mav since Chapman wouldn't give me a railcar number and chat just tells me to get it from them. They told me, as of last Sat, it has been in Delaware. I'm assuming it is at the railyard awaiting transport to Horsham. As Johnkn is, I am almost positive it...
Hopefully mine is on that same train. Shipped same day and heading to the same destination. Unfortunately, Ashley stated that they could not give out railcar numbers any longer at the request of their Ford rep. I have been trying to gauge when it would arrive since I have a vacation scheduled...
Doubt it will happen. They brought the Baja out when Americans did not want utes. With how popular the crosstrek is, I doubt they would sink money into a project that would cannibalize those sales. And as stated above, reliability milage will vary. That being said, I am trading in my subaru for...
Thanks. This actually answers a question I was going to post here. This will be my first vehicle with a bed and I live in the northeast. I was leaning towards spray in because I figured moisture/salt/debris would get trapped under drop ins over time. Although I have seen people that have had...

I know on my CRV, along with changing the throttle mapping it also changes how often the AC compressor cycles on. Eco on that is usually only useful for cruising at hwy speeds and on flat ground. otherwise, due to throttle mapping, it seems to get worse mpgs.
