Mike, I can tell the difference at night. If you have any issues with vision at night, I would not suggest it.

The fordvideoguy talked about this. I think that by changing from the Hybrid to the EB, its like resetting the clock. I guess it may help by bumping up the build date to an EB and getting a truck earlier than by waiting for the Hybrid, but from what I understand the prices in effect at the time...

I tried mid-grade gas and it did not make a difference. However, I do wonder if the fill-up from Costco in Tucson had something to it, I got 31 MPG after filling up there. Has anyone compared gas types i.e. ethanol blend vs straight gas, or does anyone even sell straight gas anymore? I know...

Mike, I'm bad with the %'s. If I remember correctly, it is 50% on the windshield and 70% on the side windows. It is incredible what a huge difference it makes in lowering heat transmission. That and the added security. Harder to see in.

Yep, have had my Maverick windshield tinted. Not legal here in CA but the police and CHP seem to have other things to deal with than tints. Plus it gets to over 120 out here so they may be more forgiving due to that. One thing I just found out is that ceramic window tints can interfere with...

Love the factory installed trifold/hardtop tonneau. Its made by Rev industries/ Truck Hero. Have not driven in heavy rain yet, only time it leaks is when I wash the truck, probably because the hose is shooting the water right at the tonneau edge.

As much as I love the quality of workmanship that went into these projects, I simply do not have the time for all that work. To me, the $140 was worth the convenience. As I become older, I just do not want to mess with things. I'd probably spend 3 or 4 hours on this project, next thing you know...
