  1. Forscan Audio Control Module

There are lots of threads that deal with the B&O systems. I would search those and get some expert advice. Sorry, just no experience with the Maverick B&O system. Take care.
  2. Forscan Audio Control Module

Before you do anything, change the sound settings and listen to it. Then decide. After all, the weakness of the factory speakers has been documented. But that applies to a non-B&O system. I don't know much about the difference between the base system and the B&O, except I do know the B&O has a...
  3. My humble review of my new Velocity Blue Maverick XL

My Mi Camión Azul is dusty, dirty, and the bed is full of miscellany. Such a sad state of affairs. I've been working on the well house that I mentioned above and everything else has taken a back seat. It takes me a while to progress In this Texas heat. With the heat I can only work until...
  4. Easy quick handy project - grabbing stick / rod holder in bed (without lifting tonneau)

I spy the important things in the bed. Let's see, golf clubs and a cooler. What more do you need in the bed?
  5. Easy quick handy project - grabbing stick / rod holder in bed (without lifting tonneau)

Great idea! I don't have a grabbing hook, but I keep a long handled 3-prong cultivator and an old titlest putter for grabbing things. I'll have to think about mounting them permanently now. Thanks for the idea!
  6. Forscan Audio Control Module

I don't have the B&O equipment, nor did I ever get into Forscan. But, I can tell you that the reduced capacity of the rear speakers seem to be tied to the selection of sound settings. There you can choose between 1) sound optimized for the driver, and 2) sound for the whole car. When you choose...
  7. Active Powered "All-N-One" Subwoofers

Great questions. If you are only replacing the front speakers and not installing the DSP Amp, then a harness is not required. The harness just provides a loop through the DSP Amp to amplify the speaker circuits, as well as providing power. Don't worry about reviving an ol' thread. That's what...
  8. Active Powered "All-N-One" Subwoofers

I had the same reaction when I connected the Puzu PUZU PZ-C7, except I had already replaced the front and rear speakers. I'm enjoying the sound enhancement of the DSP Amp.
  9. Lessons learned from stock stereo upgrade.

I used Puzu's Factory Plug & Play harness which taps into the speaker circuits at the ACM and sends them through the DSP Amp and back to Ford's factory speaker circuit. The DSP also has subwoofer out access. Puzu made it very easy. All I had to run was the sub's power, ground it behind the back...
  10. My humble review of my new Velocity Blue Maverick XL

Thank you. After years chasing projects worldwide and flying thousands of miles a year, and driving 60k miles a year, I'm enjoying staying home. I have now just passed 6000 miles and have owned the Maverick since Nov. 10, 2021.
  11. My humble review of my new Velocity Blue Maverick XL

Here is the link to the guy I purchased from. https://www.ebay.com/str/cybereveryday. He is good to deal with. Send him a message on eBay and tell him what you want. He'll respond and let you know how to get your Puzu PZ-C7 with the Ford harness. Remember there are two different Ford harnesses...
  12. My humble review of my new Velocity Blue Maverick XL

Exciting stuff. The Maverick is the right little truck at the right time and meets my needs very well. The Infinity speakers are nice, but there are many other brands out there just as good and someone will always have some kind of close out going on. For me, I love the Infinities because of...
  13. My humble review of my new Velocity Blue Maverick XL

Good questions. The Puzu PZ-C7 is not a power house DSP Amplifier, but it is adequate for me with the power rated at 45 Watts RMS per channel. Having the power fed through the harness, some question the power rating, but, so far it has done everything I wanted or needed. The DSP aspect of the...
  14. Maverick Pickup Diecast Model ?

I got a quote to 3D print a 1/43 scale Maverick. Over $250, so I guess I'll wait until my nephew gets his 3D printer up and running.
  15. My humble review of my new Velocity Blue Maverick XL

It's been a while since posting here, but know that me and Mi Camión Azul have been busy. After the storm that caused the long power outage there were several trees down and lots of branches and other that had to be gathered up and hauled off to the burn pile. My little truck is probably tired...
  16. Maverick sales vs competition so far in 2023 is doing very well!

I grew up in the early '60s racing Plymouths so I was a Mopar fan for a long time. I bought Dodge pickups, Rams, and my Plymouths morphed into Chryslers. I loved my Mopars and didn't desert them, but they deserted me. Bottom line Chrysler strayed from what made them popular when they developed...
  17. Maverick is a Failure Article

I posted the following to accompany the article when it showed up on Yahoo News. Failure. No, I doubt that Ford considers it a failure, and most likely, sales performance is exactly what Ford expects considering the material constraints the industry has experienced. Yes, I own a Maverick. I...
