  1. This is what Ford should produce in the Maverick

The headline on Ford Authority that got my attention read: Ford Ranger MS-RT Debuts As Sporty European Street Truck By Brett Foote February 14, 2024 9:37 AM Back in early 2021, the Ford Ranger MS-RT (for M-Sport Road Technology) debuted in Europe as a pretty unique and sporty offering inspired...

  3. My humble review of my new Velocity Blue Maverick XL

With our cold spell here in East Texas came a couple of problems. The mail did not run yesterday. Admittedly, I'm sure after the Monday holiday that the mail to deliver was an enormous pile. However, it's the first time that I know about they didn't deliver at all. I had three packages to...
  4. Retro Look: XL Wheels Body Color Matched

Having your truck's finish on the wheels is a great look, however, something is needed to contrast with the color. Black or chrome center cap and/or contrasting stripe along the outer rim. Something to break up the color and make it look classy.
  5. Should I paint the wheel covers gloss Black

These are super cool looking and a classic look for a nice looking truck. Can you provide a link to where we can purchase some?

  7. My humble review of my new Velocity Blue Maverick XL

Thank you for purchasing the book. I'm glad you and your son like the upgrades to your Maverick.
  8. Changed the color of my steelies (to brass monkey w/ black center cap) for xmas!

Love the color. It's a classy look that contrasts well with the black center cover, other black trim, and the white finish. Reminds me a little of the Bronco Sport Aluminum wheels that look similar to the steelies and as I remember they are some sort of bronze finish as well. So, you saved a ton...
  9. Active Powered "All-N-One" Subwoofers

Just the blue wire as this diagram shows. It has been a while since I installed mine and I don't specifically remember the white wire and nothing shows this lead in the OM, so I'm not sure about what the white wire does. As I recall, the harness was labeled well, does the white wire have a...
  10. Active Powered "All-N-One" Subwoofers

Mine came with spade connectors soldered directly to the line feeding the speakers. There were no connectors to unplug. It could be because my truck was delivered Nov. 10, 2021. I purchased a set of the 72-5602 for the rear but did not use them.
  11. My humble review of my new Velocity Blue Maverick XL

Ho, Ho, Ho! Merry Christmas to all. Hope all you kids get what you want for Christmas. I got mine two years ago on Nov. 10, 2021. A new blue Maverick. Hope the New Year brings you all the best. Howard
  12. Simple B&O upgrade and sub solution.

First, the factory default settings on mine were fantastic. I did not change much of anything, but I did go through the different settings making sure I saved those that I liked. Using the front channel input for the rear channels were the default setup on mine. Just in case, I set my sound...
  13. Simple B&O upgrade and sub solution.

I have not heard of any frequency limitations for the front door speakers. I installed coax Infinity Reference REF-6532IX which were 3 ohm and they sound great. I did not disconnect the tweeters in the dash since the tweeters in the infinity are more efficient, and sound great. Some have...
  14. Full audio upgrade complete

I know you didn't ask me for the info, but just in case you still need, here is a photo of the Puzu Ford Harness for the Maverick and the one I installed. Absolutely the easiest part of my audio install. I sent my supplier these photos so there would be no mistake. Additionally, here are...
  15. Active Powered "All-N-One" Subwoofers

I liked what Cerwin Vegas that I listened to while trying to decide what after market speakers to purchase. I know lots of Maverick owners have purchasae Cerwin Vega speakers to replace factory, so that must tell us something about their quality. Good choice.
  16. "Goose" Maverick build is done...for now. Paintmatched bumpers / plastics & lowered + Katzkin seat covers

Great build and super sweet interior. Thanks for posting.
  17. Full audio upgrade complete

I did not use a video. I just hooked up my computer, ran the software, and adjusted available settings to my taste. With the computer, I was able to save various setups, then compare them. A Real Time Analyzer or mic w/ SPL meter does not hear for me. I didn't try to automate the setup process...
  18. Full audio upgrade complete

Glad you are getting more out of your system. I don't use mine at a 16-20 volume since installing the DSP Amp and I've not experienced any bottom end clipping. I do notice that the input choice does affect volume somewhat. The FM and Satelite inputs are the loudest and the USB is slightly below...
  19. Simple B&O upgrade and sub solution.

I listened some of the small bass module released by TB. The small form factor intrigued me. I had planned to buy a couple of them for the slots on each side of the back seats, using them with a good amp, mostly for MID bass. Couldn't find any actually for sale. Also looked at the 5-1/4" TB...
