From where I sit it's that there aren't many available. The 25's are substantially gone, and the 26's are just trickling in. Most of the movs shown on my local dealer sites have the generic photo and an 'in transit" label on 'em.
How will Forscan update the code package? All Forscan can do is change the properties and values for objects that are already exist. The update is new logic, eg programming; it's not just flipping a 0 to a 1.
Yeah, however when I was test driving there was a marked difference between wind and tire noise between XLTs and Lariats, which is one of the reasons I went Lariat. The XLT's noise would have annoyed me too much.
That's an argument AGAINST them back porting it to the 2025s as then they would then have to support two versions on the 2025's versus having a clean demarcation line between the 2025s and 2026s. Since this isn't a safety fix, I don't see it happening.

The worst thing is that Ford already went down this road somewhere around 2010 when they made the Ford Edge touchscreen-only and the reaction was worse than now, which is why they went back to analog controls and then everyone was happy.
