The hybrid is rated 42 city and 33 highway so I was really close to EPA highway numbers. Probably 95% of the miles were at 65-75MPH on the trip so Iād expect to see about 33. I think if you are mostly driving highway miles then there is really no mileage advantage to the hybrid. But if you have...
I did not get my ordered Maverick- still have to see what becomes of that order- but I now have an orphaned 2022 XLT Hybrid with Luxury Package that I got last Friday and drove home from Long McArthur. Yes, I had to pay over sticker but we needed a vehicle and they were willing to take less...
Last Friday I flew into Kansas and picked up a 22 XLT Hybrid with luxury package from Long McArthur. Then I drove it back to Southern California.
Brief backstory- I ordered a 22 Velocity Blue XLT Hybrid with luxury package from a local dealer in October 2021. Summer 2022 I removed the luxury...
The best source Iāve seen was suggesting 2025 model year for a small Toyota truck. At this point there doesnāt seem to be anything solid happening quickly on that front.
I don't understand how they can't manage to make the hitch or why they didn't just make it standard equipment on all the Mavericks. If it was a $500 option then yeah, I could see someone leaving it off if they planned to mostly use the truck as a commuter or just never towed. But at $100 you...
Having read through all 14 pages of this my two cents-
1. Ford should absolutely offer the opportunity for 23 hybrid orders to switch to Eco-boost. They need to do something to move people to orders that they have capacity to produce.
2. Ford should have charged more for the hybrid than the...
I guess those of us with canceled 22ās who are rolling over to 23ās are in the driverās seat as we are getting a clear shot at getting whatever we want on our orders. As long as you donāt put dealer available accessories on you should get scheduled and built as a 23.

I don't think I'd setup a sale until I held the title. I'd have to run the risk that prices would change while I was waiting. Frankly even if I'm roughly break even I'd be OK with that. Better than than hand the dealer an extra $7,500.
I'm thinking I'd probably offer it here private party. But...
Update on my situation. My 22 XLT hybrid order got scheduled but is on the canceled list now. In the meantime I had ordered a 23 Lariat hybrid from Long McArthur. Turns out that after over a year of waiting I actually need a vehicle. I got on a wait list at Long McArthur for trucks that were...
Those are all really good questions, especially the missing moonroof for XL orders.
I think I can answer #5. There is no price protection, just the private offer. That is all the compensation you are going to get from Ford. So that is $2,750. In my case, a lightly optioned XLT, I think I might...
My October order is one of the ones that was scheduled and is now canceled. Unlike a year ago I actually need a new vehicle soon. And since it looks like the earliest I will see my rollover is February I canāt wait for Ford to get their act together. I really wanted a Maverick but the dealers...
That would be my guess as well. They canāt have scheduled the canceled 22ās yet because no one from Ford has explained to the dealers how they are going to be handled.
The dealer I ordered my 22 from has never contacted me after I placed the order. Every communication with them has been because I called them. When I wanted to remove items off my order in an attempt to get scheduled I had to teach my sales guy how to do it. That was one of the big reasons I...
Ford put out a memo to dealers on Wednesday. It says none of the December scheduled hybrids will be built as 22 models. They will have to be rolled over to 2023 orders.
You can read the memo in the first post of this thread...
