I was a draft avoider, didn't want to go to Nam but the Navy had other plans for me. They kept me for 4 years nearly to the day, and they let me out just two days after the Paris Peace Accords was signed. But I guess this is supposed to be a Maverick discussion, right? So, here's a picture of...
I put mine in yesterday, not quite so clean and blemish-free as yours, but I'm happy with the results.
EDIT: I used an adjustable pliers to remove the socket, and I drilled the two holes out and reused the plastic pins left over from the mudflap install.
I took a chance on the Mabbet sunshade when they were offering 30% off. I fought with it to tuck in around the edges, and never really got it to stay in place at the top. And having to roll it up was another issue, when I've always used the type that accordions or the type that uses a spring...
Installed my Gator SFX soft tri-fold tonneau, setup the AAWireless dongle, and took advantage of the slightly warmer weather to finish fitting and installing the hitch mount cover. Got it in with a minimum of surface damage, thanks to tips from others who have posted their covers.
Understood! And no, I haven't seen a single CO Maverick yet in Maine or anywhere for that matter. Anyway, good luck and safe travels! I'll keep my eyes open for you.
Welcome home, brother. Not sure what's going in the hitch receiver but I have my service record covered, 70-73, DDG-8 USS Lynde McCormick. Maybe I fired a few 5" H&I rounds to keep you guys safe.
Nice! I was just looking at those Scamp 13s, never had a camper but thinking about one. Your setup looks like it's pretty close to to the max towing/payload numbers but I have to assume that you aren't having any issues. Care to comment? I'd love to hear how it handles. TIA
I took delivery on a frigid late-February day, after having the dealership undercoat my Cactus Gray XLT Lux 2023. Most of the 1500 miles have been either I-95 70-75+ or sub-45mph in-town jackrabbit light-to-light. Still getting 34-35 mpg which is a damn sight better than I was getting out of my...
Where can I get a small amount of PPF to protect the area where the Ford mudflaps are known to damage the paint? It seems it is only sold in huge rolls.
You are correct, I wasn't paying attention to the picture I added. So let's talk about this picture instead:
The interior side of the windshield where the camera is housed has this little lens on the driver's side. I've seen it referred to somewhere as a part of Driver Alert system. Can anyone...
I've searched this forum for a concise description of this feature, included with the CP360 option, and have been unable to find one. The manual's description is rather anemic:
What exactly are "other factors" and what exactly is that little opening indicated by the arrow? Because of the robust...
Same here. They did an undercoat and another process inside the doors and areas. I know there is a perforation warranty (60000 miles?) but I'd like this truck to outlive me.
You couldn't have captured the driving experience in Memphis any better. I was there twice last year visiting in-laws; for someone brought up in the Chicago area traffic, I was challenged to up my game to make sure I didn't become a statistic.
BTW, thanks for the tire report, I will probably...
After looking at all of previous posts in this thread, I'm making it official. Here she is, chillin' in the Maine winter at sunset. A lot of fine looking Cactus Gray, hope to see some of you on the road.
Are those the stainless letters from Ford? If so, could you take an angle shot of the whole tailgate? I got them for the VB 2022 that rolled over to a CG 2023. Want to make sure they are right for mine.
