Happy to share with those whose initial Delivery has been held up by this - hang in there, my airbags are being installed today, and I’m finally taking it home tomorrow.

@LastDog I got the call - remaining parts arrived today, and I should take delivery Friday morning. Finally our week is here. Enjoy getting yours tomorrow!

@LastDog stopped by my dealer today to check status of my airbags. They got one. Not one pair, one airbag. You just can’t make this up…. not sure if my glass is half full or half empty.

Good luck with that inquiry…. I stopped by my dealer on Tuesday and was told the order for the parts was in, but they had no idea of ETA of delivery of them, I did see someone else on the board get told “3 weeks” by another dealer… but who knows at this point. Just more waiting.

That is a fantastic idea, I’m going to try that too - they don’t have a lot of room inside, and I think there’s a pretty Mustang there now, so I doubt it, but couldn’t hurt to ask…

I copied this when I was at the dealer which is probably what yours was looking at as well. All pretty clear cut, just have to hope that we’re ahead of the crowd when the parts come available… and continue suffering in the meantime.

@LastDog glad yours is closer to home. I have driven by mine a few times, as the dealer is 3 miles away, I freaked out the first time it wasn’t in the same spot, but then saw they’d moved it to put the lisc plate frame on the front bumper. I didn’t like seeing someone had wiped the dirt off...

I’ve seen other threads about this issue in the Recalls part of the forum, and we are far from alone in getting the short end of the stick. Ford’s stick only seems to have short ends. The part that is really making me insane is that our trucks sat in Mexico for 2+ months waiting for the chips...

@LastDog I just checked. It also says no recalls there… Just sent a screenshot to my salesman to see if there’s any wiggle room or loophole, will let you know what they say. Let me know if your dealer makes any headway there…
