Put the flag away, @mspmms …. I was built on the last day of the airbag recall and now I get to visit my truck in the dealer lot for another 3+ months waiting for the part to come before @Ford Motor Company will let them sell it to me…. 600 day wait here I come…. UNFREAKINGBELIEVABLE. So upset.

Add me to this cast of misery. Built on 7/9, the last day of the recall window, just got to dealer yesterday I showed up today when they opened and they can’t sell it to me. Drove it around their lot for 10 minutes as a special tease. the wait begins anew…. FML.

@LastDog, we’re screwed. AGAIN. Just got home from the dealer without my truck - got to drive it around their parking lot but FoMoCo won’t let them sell it to me until the airbag is fixed, and there is no ETA on the part being available. Looks like I get an extra special level of torture...

What are you guys complaining about - today is day 495 for me, in my final round of torture waiting for transport to bring it the last 30 miles to the dealer… will I reach 500? Probably…

just saw on another thread how to check on the transport: https://www.unitedroad.com/delivery-receipt run your VIN to see your ‘load number’ but not sure how to turn that into a date… yet.

@MLowe05 once you have a load number, do you know how to get a delivery date?

I just checked and yes, shows the airbag recall, but more importantly NS says our train car has been placed to be unloaded!

@larryhokie @LastDog Either of you tried NS today? There’s been a couple of times during the tracking I couldn’t understand the town name - “Poe, VA”? Nothing in between Crewe & P’burg by that name…. Any ideas?

NS says “AVPL“ in Crewe, and according to this post at our sister forum for F150 Lightning that means it’s at the ‘final ramp’ but looking at the Crewe yard on Google Maps, there’s no auto ramps there, so not sure what they mean… must.. stay.. patient.

Those of us here on the forums are much better informed than our dealers. NS says last checkpoint was Crewe VA so should get to the P’burg yard today. Traded emails with my guy today he says it’s usually between 3 days to a week once off the train to get to the Richmond area, again backing up...

@LastDog our train hit Roanoke today! So close!
