  3. No 91 octane fuel in my area

61.2 cents per gallon is what California would like you to think the tax per gallon is. Here is a breakdown of the actual tax. State excise tax: 59.6 cents (automatically increases july 1 each year) Cap and Trade tax: 28 cents Sales tax: 12 cents Carb regulation costs: 23 cents (today)...
  4. Maverick is being returned to Ford, hopefully our part ex 2019 Silverado is still at ford to get back

I almost resemble that remark.... But, I find the seats to be comfy enough. I bet this guy and the Auto headlamps/AC guy could really get together and just all out "Pinky and the Brain" the whole world with ease.
  5. Well it happened. 2 inch puck lift CV Joint

Only in the snow covered parking lots, and every chance my old ass gets.
  6. No 91 octane fuel in my area

Got back into UT this past weekend, stopped in Moab for fuel. Noticed I was pumping 85... Stopped about 6 gallons in and topped off with 91. I miss the south..... I also miss the days when 87/89/93 were only 10 cents difference.
  7. Random Maverick Photos of the Day Thread! 📸

That is a lot of lift and suspension work for the diffs to be a whole 10" off the ground.
  8. Accuracy of dash mpg readout

There are differences between same year models based on selected trims. This would lead to some discrepancies, as well as there are some variations between tire manufacturers. When I bought 42" tires for my Jeep, they measured 41.4 but labeled as 42, etc...
  9. Lowering Springs - What else to change/replace/upgrade

I would pay attention to the year model when looking at posts with CV issues. Although not 100% related to the 2022 year model, they seem to have the most issues related to CV failure. (and they would have failed lowered, lifted or stock). Lowered, your CV will be more flat than angled. I...
  10. Accuracy of dash mpg readout

ill edit with a pic later. East Texas to SLC Utah this past weekend, 28.5 mpg, spot on with hand calculation. didnt try for good MPG, and had cruise set at 73-77 most of the trip, and absolutely drove like a maniac through the mountains.

  13. 🙋‍♂️ What did you do TO / WITH your Maverick today?

Curious, what made you choose the plumb back over the dual port?
  14. What are my Lariat Wheels / Tires worth?

I paid $1000 USD for the set I picked up. They were new take offs with 200 miles on them. You can get whatever you want for them, just be willing to sit on them until you do.
  15. Upgraded to 245/60/18. A bit concerned

11 LBS per corner is a lot of rotational mass. It looks really good! Are the looks worth the gas mileage loss and transmission hunting? Personally Id find a lighter A/T tire in that size, or you're next favorite choice in stock size as you stated.

  17. Mysterious Front End Clunk [5/15/26 - Might be the Rear?]

I would guess intermediate shaft (steering) or Swaybar links.
  18. Turbo Sound - High Frequency?

That is what i just removed and put the stock unit back on. TurboSmart Kompact Dual Port. Some Dumb Dumb lost 1 of my stock bolts.... So I just used the Turbo smart bolts. Fits like it should. Either way, maybe they wont notice.
  19. Turbo Sound - High Frequency?

Mine sounds like an Aztec Death whistle. Pretty sure I have boost leak somewhere, or impending turbo failure. No engine light, power seems okay, and it runs smooth as it should. Under hard acceleration, it makes the death whistle noise. its not loud, but its there,. It is not the typical EB...
