I left mine, though thought about removing it. The stickers do little to nothing for the aesthetic either way.
Will most likely remove them this weekend. Id rather my thin, economy paint job fade evenly.
I really enjoy my Mav. I don't care where it was made, but I do think if it was made, sourced, assembled in the good old USA, it would have been a 40k base model in 2021 with just as many, if not more problems and recalls.
Insurance covers stupidity..... like if you park too close to a bon fire, or it slides down a boat ramp, or maybe you park in a seedy area and a camera sees someone vandalizing it and then setting it ablaze.
Just saying.
I think some engines are just tough. My dad had a 2005 Avalon with 37X,000 miles on it. It developed an oil leak around 120k. he never changed the oil or filter again, just added 1 quart every 2000 miles.
I always thought the HHR panel wagons were kitchy cool.
I thought the LOL faces would give it away that this was light hearted BS. I like to poke at the AmsOil guys for quoting this type of stuff and posting as fact.
You're all wasting money....
AMSOIL synthetic motor oil generally allows for oil change intervals of up to 25,000 miles or one year, depending on the specific product and driving conditions. For severe service conditions, the interval may be reduced to 15,000 miles or one year...
If you want a new truck and can afford it, there are a lot of upsides to full warranty. If the Hybrid is tickling your fancy, have a giggle my friend....
And if you're not the giggling type, here is a screen shot of a text from my Grandmother.....
I am sure a solution can be easily fabricated. Search amazon for weatherproof box. Here is one example... You could make the cutouts big enough for the harness to go through and then silicone around them. can still be opened for service if need be. Tons of sizes to choose from
