Your wheel bearings are not going to grenade. silly. There will most likely be accelerated wear, but its not going to be immediate. Until i swapped over to 1 ton axles, I ran a 16x10 wheel on my jeep with a -44mm offset for 81k miles, and no issues. YMMV. Also had a mini truck back in the day...
Take some measurements to there you want your wheel to sit. Convert that to mm, and order something close as you can get. Spend the money to get quality spacers.

Are you running factory wheels? a few youtube guys have ran 2" spacers without much recourse.
Good deal! Sucks to go through it. After seeing that PDR wasn't really a fix all, and the roof would have to be skinned if not replaced.... you're better off not having a newish Maverick with body filler all over it. Plus the incident depreciation alone would have killed your future trade/Sell.
My Dad had a Diamondback cover on his last Tundra. Awesome cover. He would load his camping gear in the bed and then park his snow machine or 4Wheeler on top and strap it down. Ridiculously heavy duty.
