Is there a way through the steering wheel audio/menu control to change audio sources? The only way I've found is through the touch screen while in the audio section. I almost always have AA/maps up on the screen and to change the audio source to something else, I have to exit entirely from AA...
Ah yeah, I recall you commenting on another thread the other day about this. I'd rather just remove the mirror glass and do it right. I don't understand how this is the "easier" route. The glass should clip out, then there are 4 bolts holding the cap on. Once off, sand, prime, paint, clear.
I actually have a can of color match paint/primer/CC that I bought to do the handles but ended up find a set at a salvage yard. I'd love to at least do the mirrors but I can't find good info about getting the glass out to get the caps off.
Not to hijack your thread here, but what exactly do you need to be able to use FORscan and edit settings? I'd like to disable some of the annoying crap but up until now thought I needed some sort of expensive tool. Can I simply use my phone to modify these settings?
Finally got my XL complete. I might still add a small amp/sub combo and order/cut the hitch cover to clean that area up. Otherwise, I'm done modding
'24 XL hybrid. Base model, only option is hitch.

I know the factory torque specs are like 148lbs but if you have aftermarket wheels and lugs, does that still apply? Not sure what drives the torque specs, the vehicle/hubs, wheels, lugs, etc? Don't want to crank the hell out of my aftermarket wheels and have bad things happen because that's...
Did you paint the factory textured parts or order ready to paint pieces? I ended up with a set of Bronco Sport handles but still need to do the mirror caps. I can't for the life of me find a good explanation to get the mirror glass out to even get the caps off though.
BTW, what's that last...
That was your dealer. The front plate bracket isn't installed from the factory, the dealer puts it on if you're in a state that requires it. Same with your floor mats.
Fun story. Buddy of mine did some sort of work on his Ranger and while heading to my house, all the lug nuts flew off one of his wheels. They went into an overgrown ditch and he couldn't find them, luckily the wheel didn't actually come off. This was before cell phones, he walked clear to my...
Very nice, I have springs sitting in my wife's office, just trying to get the time to do it. Everything I've read/seen, nobody talked about torquing the bolts back down. Was that needed? Can you share what bolts need to be torqued and what that spec is?
Anyone commenting on the grill are fools. Any parts you can actually see are camouflaged, they have to expose the grill for cooling so it's camouflaged.
