Paintwork looks amazing, you have a hookup for it? Curious what it cost if not or would have if you did. I have a '24 Mav on Eibach's with Drag DR67 wheels. About to buy a '25 and put these Petrol P2C's on but in black. Still happy with them? You have 245/45/20 tires? Do you recall the hub...
Thanks, just what I was looking for. And the Escape is identical to the Mav? As a side question, can you see the vehicles audio (AM/FM, switch tracks, etc) while using AA split screen?
Curious if someone can tell me if their 2025 display screen displays things like Android Auto maps in full screen or if it ends up being a split screen (60/40ish). In case there is a difference, I'm more interested in hearing from XL owners.
Yeah, that is a fun trick. Usually that's at the dealer level. They used a manual trans forever for that game, now, few even offer a manual, sadly.
So really this truck has gone up about 50% since inception.
Ah but you don't 'equip' and XL Ecoboost with anything, it only comes in AWD. So, the hybrid isn't cheaper, they made it 'cheaper' by forcing AWD on the ecoboost.
See my post a couple down from yours. 1st, apparently you can still build a 2024 model.... 2nd, while the hybrid is the standard drivetrain, it's FWD where the ecoboost force adds AWD which is $1000+. Pretty shady shit they have going.
UPDATE
I realize now that the build site still has the 2024 as default, you have to select 2025. So hybrid is 'standard', oddly, if you want the 2.0 though it forces AWD on you? Is that true, the 2.0 Ecoboost only comes in AWD now?
UPDATE! See my below post
Just fiddling around with the build site. Realized the 'standard' drivetrain was the 2.0 Ecoboost. I swear when the '25 was announced they were going to again make the 2.5 hybrid the standard. Am I mistaken? Really burns my ass that what started as the 'standard'...
Awesome, thanks. So that panel can be removed without first taking the lower on off stamped 'Air Bag'?
Edit: NM, my eyes are getting old and I now see it's all one contiguous panel, got it removed. Should be fairly easy from here. Thank you!
Bought the 'factory' Thinkware camera setup with the ODBC wiring. Since I'm not tapping into the fuse box on the passenger side, I'm routing the wiring on the drivers side. The end cap on the dash is labeled 'Air Bag', I've got the routing along the headliner and down the A pillar, not sure...
Why? He said he's been doing it for a couple of years and made a video demonstrating how he does it. Seems to be working just fine for him. Trailers are a PITA for most people, separate license/upkeep, having to store it, etc.
Thanks, I have the XL and there is an audio section in the DIC but the submenu doesn't give source as an option, this would be the most logical place for it in my head.
I'll look for this button once I'm back in my truck, this might be the silver bullet I'm looking for. Thanks
