You can use a local garage if you want, there's no requirement to use a Ford dealer for ANY routine maintenance service - warranty issues/service would need a Ford dealer visit.
Also, you can do the 10k checks( and any maintenance) yourself, just keep your receipts for any fluids, filters, etc...
The increased "engine" noise is moslty artificial. A lot of manufacturers do this, using the vehicle speakers to play a soundtrack for you.
With that being said, you will notice more engine noise in the cabin because several drive modes result in the engine RPM being higher due to modified...
Unlike the F-150, in the Maverick the advancetac(stability control) is not user controlled. Traction control can be turned on/off by the driver but the advancetrac function cannot.
Seems like a software issue.
One last thing to try is to set climate control to LAST, set your seats and wheel to OFF, then turn the seat and wheel on manually before shutting down. Remote start the truck and see if they return to the on setting.
You probably already know this, since your '22...
If I understand, the heated wheel works when you manually turn it on. If so then when you change the climate control from auto to LAST, and turn on the heated wheel before turning the truck off, does the heated wheel turn on when remote started?
I thought the only change to the climate control...
Within the climate control sub menu you should see 2 settings, LAST and AUTO, check to see that AUTO is enabled. If it is the heated wheel and seats should turn on below 50 degrees (I think, check your owners manual).
LAST should turn on any climate control features you had on when you shut the...
It might be coincidence, but, since I deleted the app from my phone and disabled the TCU by removing the fuse I haven't gotten any more email service reminders from either the selling dealer or Ford. I was getting those emails seemingly constantly, so turning it off appears to have done...
In a fuel injected vehicle that will only work as long as your " dead" battery still has enough juice left to power your ignition system, fuel pump and injection system.
Had a Chevy with a 4speed and a dead battery once that I thought "I'll just roll 'er down this here hill and pop the clutch"...
My trick for the seat belt reminder is
1) buckle all the rear seat belts and leave them buckled. Noone usually sits there anyway.
2) buckle my seat belt before inserting the key and/or starting the vehicle. NOTE: If you have a front seat passenger have them buckle up also.
When I start the...
Seems like an easy solution is available.

For the garage door openers function you can install a rear view mirror with that. Some owners install a KIA mirror which would require power to be supplied to the mirror for the garage door control to work, or you can install a Toyota mirror which has an internal battery which means there's no...
Brake service mode is not a reminder to service the brakes. It is a procedure you need to follow when changing the REAR brake pads. The procedure allows you to retract the brake caliper piston AND prevents the electronic parking brake from engaging while performing the brake service.
True, but, I can still connect my Andriod phone either with a cable or a wireless adapter and enjoy XM, Navigation (I use Waze or Google maps), hands free calls and text to voice, so I'm not sure I'm missing any functionality.
My bad..
Can he still use a cable to test if the wireless function is functioning? Or will the Sync system not see his phone if hardwired?
I have a lowly '23 XLT so no built in wireless or Sync 3
