It's not just drivers who actuate the MANUAL lock lever when exiting...
My wife and I both exited my Tremor and closed our respective doors, I DIDN'T lock the truck, either with the key fob or the POWER lock buttons.
A few minutes later my wife and I return to the truck to get in, I of couse...
7 pages of back and forth conversation about this is entertaining, but, IMHO the OP made an impulse purchase.
A quick look at Ford's website to check MSRP on the Maverick, prior to visiting the dealership, would have exposed the "friends" price as wishful thinking. Then another quick internet...
Your profile says Ecoboost, which is a 2.0L engine, but you seem to be asking about the Hybrid 2.5L ???
My Tremor regularly gets 30 MILES per gallon on highway trips, so I would say your results of @31 MPG are typical for the ECOBOOST.
As far as hybrid highway fuel consumption, I have no...
I retired almost 5 years ago and the only problem I've come across is my current boss is a jerk who never gives me a day off 😄.
Here's to hoping you both enjoy retirement as much as I do 👍
My '23 Tremor did that a few times almost a year ago. I would get in and do my pre-start routine... get in, close door, put on seat belt, insert key and start the truck, only the starter didn't want to join the party.... what I ended up having to do to get it to start was, remove the key, remove...
Sorry in advance, someone can correct my if I'm nuts... but with a brake line spraying fluid at the fittings on both ends I would imagine that you'd be out of brake fluid, and braking power fairly quickly. Unless Ford has a super advanced braking system that can sense leaks and isolate the...
I would think that the actual fuel line is stainless steel from the tank fitting all the way to the pump??? I know times are tuff and manufacturers want to trim costs, but, plastic or rubber lines are not generally a good idea or common practice on fuel injected vehicles
I can buy rodent...
I have yet to see another Tremor anywhere in my travels, and I've driven to Michigan and back twice, New England three times, and throughout North Carolina.
Since the Tremor has been "limited" to aprox 2% of production there aren't as many out there as you might think. If my Math is right, the...
We were there last week, and rest assured the Tremor handled it with ease. Didn't even use Sand Mode. Just engaged 4 wheel drive - or all wheel drive if you prefer - and locked the rear. Easy as pie.
Most likely it's the High Pressure Fuel Pump. It makes quite a racket on these 2.0 engines. Iv'e found that not much can be done about it and have actually gotten used to it at this point.
The one year limitation ONLY applies IF your already out of warranty coverage due to either mileage or the vehicles in service date. My interpretation is the buckle is covered for15 years OR 250, 000miles
And I don't think any of us have owned the Maverick for 15 years yet
I keep one of those spring loaded adjustable shower curtain rods in the bed for just that purpose. It works well for most loads, although a really heavy item will probably bend it in half 😄
ETA: you can also cut a 2×6 to fit in the side bed pockets if a sturdier option is needed.
Sometimes the ability to follow directions helps... I've posted this before but here it is again to help clarify the service manuals procedure.... which you would think a dealership service department would be following....
From page 6849 of the service manual:
Electrical Energy Management...
At least with the flash code the selling dealer should be able to get the code for you. Of course that won't be until Monday, but at least your efforts will help get it straightened out.
