I am also skeptical of the claim about hurting the engine by towing with cruise control. That just “don’t make no sense”. The truck knows how to shift under load, period. :)
That is a pretty strong claim about not using cruise control while towing. Can you substantiate it and apply it to the Maverick?
Also, if you are going up a hill with “20 to 25” degrees of incline while towing at highway speeds, I’m impressed. Most steep hills are in the 7% range. A 10% grade...
The timing on this is ironic. I just settled all the paperwork with Granger. Five minutes after finalizing transport details, I get an email from Granger telling me about this recall and that I need to cancel transport until some unknown later date. Doh!

They took the stock tires and gave me a $400 credit to my purchase. They moved the TPMS units from the stock wheels to the new wheels (saves $200+). I still have the stock wheels.
I believe I've seen @mdl20813 out and about, as well as maybe 4 others in the area. I've been cruising around in mine for the last week and am loving it!
I did the wheel/tire swap with Discount Tire and the Michelin Crossclimate 2 tires are killing it in the snow. :)

A bit of speculation…
The picture of the uncovered OEM camera set shows a bunch of wires. I wonder if any of them are already setup for accessory power. If so, then it seems like we could just tap of that.
