Soft roll up will get you a practical cover at a reasonable price with full bed access and not obscure your view through the rear window when completely open. The only "drawback" is that the soft top can be cut open by bad actors if that is a concern for you - it's never been an issue for me...

Yep, there are a few third-party options, all less expensive than the Ford accessory. I bout the Mabett version myself; partly because they offered a bundle that included hood struts (currently $45 on Amazon after coupon).
