Soft roll up will get you a practical cover at a reasonable price with full bed access and not obscure your view through the rear window when completely open. The only "drawback" is that the soft top can be cut open by bad actors if that is a concern for you - it's never been an issue for me...

Yeah, the drawback of my Tacoma's tri-fold was the complete loss of the view through the rear window when fully opened.

Awesome work, though I'll stick with the flashlight in the center console.

Hell of a price for a retractable and looks good too. My only gripe is the loss of 5 inches or so of bed space (that being a big guess on my part).

I've not experienced this myself. Lariat package here which I'd assume would not make a difference.

Yep, there are a few third-party options, all less expensive than the Ford accessory. I bout the Mabett version myself; partly because they offered a bundle that included hood struts (currently $45 on Amazon after coupon).

Love the Carbonized Gray. The Desert Sand, not so much.
