And the newer Rav4 Hybrid having the high voltage cable connection getting corroded and destroyed after a few years, and the the roof rails that leak water into the interior.
Man, if Subaru had any decent hybrid that wasn't close to 40K - we'd be all over it.
We've mostly had Subaru as new vehicles for the last 10 years. I quite like the Forester Wilderness - but we are looking to get a second vehicle that offers a lot more fuel efficiency compared to our Ascent...
Yeah - I am really in-between an XL with only a trailer hitch. Partly in hopes of getting it sooner and also the appeal of getting it as cheap as possible.
On the other hand, if I am going to wait anyway. Bumping up to the XLT and also having Co-pilot 360 would be nice. Only I really hate...
The Ridgeline IMO is a truck that doesn't do anything better than any other truck aside from being a Honda.
The Maverick is a truck that does things better than other trucks where it matters. Price, foot print and mpg.
Yeah - I think it is a smart and necessary thing Ford is doing. However, it is baffling that they couldn't foresee this several months ago. Instead they moved up the order date - then decided 4 days before the order date to change it. One hand doesn't seem to know what the other is doing and we...
Im not dealing with other auto manufactures at the moment. I am dealing with Ford. And Ford's ability to be logical, organized, and communicative is disappointing. It isn't a race to the bottom.
I really want a Maverick, and I really need a vehicle - but with Ford being so incompetent, I might have to look for something else at this point. How they can move the date up and up, then suddenly go "oh, you know what, let's go ahead and move it back a month instead".
I don't know why Ford is obsessed with the stupid orange accents. Did their market research department tell them that millennials like orange? It's the number 1 reason why I don't want the XLT.
I spoke with a different dealer today that stated the Farm Bureau and higher ed rebate wouldn't stack. So I probably won't bother buying the Farm Bureau membership.
It's so confusing between when these rebates expire, and if some will stack, and if some or all will be valid or "locked in" if you put it on at time of order or time of sale. And with orders taking anywhere from 3 months to a year - who knows!
I think both the Education and the FB rebates...
Thanks for the info!
My assumption is that I won't have an account in VINCENT until I order a vehicle with Ford. Correct?
So basically I wouldn't know what would stack until I order the Maverick.
Thanks for the reply.
Ordering the 23 here in August will be my first order and dealing with Ford
I haven't signed up for the Farm Bureau yet; which is why I was curious if it applied at the time of order or if it applied at the time of delivery/sale. If it only applied at the time of...
I haven't gotten a straight answer from dealers. They all say something like "each month rules and incentives change"
When do you utilize your incentives and rebates? At the time of order, or the time of purchase? For example the Farm Bureau 500 dollar rebate. You have to be a member for 30...
I'd love to see pictures of that. The only other post I could find about those door skirts, they claimed there was all sorts of debris there already, but no picture of it. No decent pictures of anything.
I wouldn't dream of doing that to my vehicle - but I think yours is amazing!
Also really warming up to that silver color. I was pretty set on White or Cactus Grey - but the more I see the Iconic Silver, the more I like it.
