See, the recall is very specific and it says you will get another battery because there’s no way for them to test if the internals of the old battery are about to go kaboom. If the dealer gives you shit go to another dealer you could also call Ford and ask them to start a case not sure if that...

If you are part of the recall group then they will give you a new battery this is a recall not a warranty issue.

I fully agree…I have this same situation.

The eco-boost is much more reliable less recalls less issues and the extra power is fun.

Are our trucks still selling for over sticker? I ask because when I ordered my 22 back in 21 dealers were marking up abandonEd orders by five or $10,000 so it seemed like that was a pretty good racket for them…

I’ll go first: I agree with the ability for consumers to perform their own diagnostic and repair work plus for the ability of independent repair shops to fix our Ford vehicles. It is with sadness that the industry including Ford is completely against this. What do you think...

Yup, let’s piss off our customers and be extra extra sure the quality is up to snuff. We will build them and then hold them hostage somewhere on the way to dealerships. God forbid we should actually figure everything out from the get go before ever making our vehicles excellent and shipped...

Congrats and you will love the ecoboost. try Sport mode…it really ramps up throttle response and the trans holds gears longer.
