Think I’ll stoke up my wood burning fireplace to make up for the lack of me polluting the air in my 25 Mav. :) but, seriously, bummer for the power loss. Loving my 22…
Have the dealer warranty replace…they can’t prove stolen and likely fell off. I have taken mine off several times and I must admit they do not fit very securely so chances are they fell off especially if you go off-road a little bit with lots of bumps…
Be sure to report it to the national highway transportation safety administrations -Ford definitely deserves a smack down for the crappy quality these trucks have been giving us especially you hybrid owners.. I have a 22 eco-boost that has had four recalls in a year and a half.
It is all about miles travelled and not time when it comes to changing oil. Too bad the oil monitors dont just use miles. The algorithm is based on HOW the vehicle is driven. I get it. But I still change according to miles. Just reset the reminder and be happy. Easy to do in settings menu.
besides the sound, what really counts is the dyno runs compared to stock. For 90% of us who can only get 91 octane…show us the baseline stock runs on 91 compared directly to the installed pipe on 91. All done adjusted for altitude, humidity, etc. or like the previous posters says: wallet...
Hahaha! No, they do not weigh 4,000 lbs. try 5,000-8000lbs for non-hybrid…no kidding! If you get into an accident with a Ford Rapture weighing 8,000lbs with your Maverick weighing 3,600lbs…guess who wins?
Ivory tower wishful thinking. Like I’ve said before, it is NOT Farley or Ford wants us to buy; it is what WE WANT Ford to build. He has it backwards. Bummer for us. Hey, remember my other post called “6 speed manual Maverick?” Yes, please!
Yup! Fast simple and easy -did this for the last three reprogramming warranty recalls… Really glad Ford has gotten the message that the last thing we want to do is tie up a vehicle all day and have to deal with the service writers and all the bullshit to sell you this that and the other thing...
While I do not have an answer for you I am hoping that you will possibly post up your experience both with installation and how it performs as I and, probably others are interested in this at some point.
My local dealer actually comes to my driveway to do all of my repairs. No extra fee sometimes even same-day service if not the next day so I’m really happy with that since there have been four recalls, one was airbags which did need to be brought in however.
Yup! I really would like one too! The fact that you’re reading this means you probably do also and it’s a complete miss that they haven’t come come out with us as a sport option yet. I do realize they have to monetize the cost of making it work and guessing how many units they will sell but...
