I have a friend in CA who was among the very early Maverick buyers (waiters), so his Ford-sourced tonneau may be an early version. He has some dissatisfaction with his tonneau's water-tightness and "floppiness" at the rear corners.

I'm finding conflicting info on etrailer.com regarding whether or not my Blue Ox Avail tow bar will require adaptors to hook to the Demco base plate. Anyone know the answer to that?
The Demco sure is expensive compared to the base plates, but I guess, based on comments I've seen in this group...
