Just had my Mav Lariat in the shop for same issue. They had no clue as to cause. I now am awaiting confirmation for an appointment in 40 days to have their "special tech" look at it. Am told it could take several days.

Yes, all the time. I think Yes, all the time. Seems like a simple request, fresh air without AC. No AC lights on, but AC is running (cold air from vents, engine lag). Threads may have a work around, will try some of those.

Typical response from Ford. This is a common issue with Mavericks. I've not heard of a fix.

87 is all I have run. Around town get about 24, on road trips get around 32. No complaints, why spend more for higher octane!

Is the camera for lane centering located at top of windshield?

Who at Ford came up with auto start to save gas and yet AC runs with AC light off. It appears AC runs based temp setting and not the AC button!

Doesn't matter. Auto, manual, ac, no ac, temp up or temp down.

Freezing over was one of the thoughts I had.

Fan increases speed randomly. Screen says speed = 1, but blowing much stronger. Adjusting speed makes no difference. Turning air system on/off makes no difference. Phone not on, Bluetooth not on. Will eventually go back to normal.

Hate it. From my estimation it saves about a liter in gas for an hour of engine stoppage. I would think the wear and tare on engine components exceeds any gas savings.
