I use super tech full synthetic in all my vehicles. Blended by Warren, same company behind the Kirkland brand. Good stuff, meets all API standards and even performed well in project farms testing on YouTube.
You better stick strictly to the interior cleaning products listed in the owners manual under vehicle care and don’t ever use anything else since those products may not meet the specifications.
are you also one of the guys that says certain gasoline brands are better than others?
I lost brain cells reading this thread.
You can use the Kirkland oil in your maverick without any concern of having warranty issues.
Also Costco doesn’t own an oil refinery and associated lubricants plant. A company called Warren oil blends the oil and throws a Kirkland or super tech sticker...
An 8.4 mile trip is rather short to be comparing mpg numbers. With a trip that short minor changes in acceration, braking, and slower or faster traffic can really swing the average. I assume that's your work commute... I suggest driving it for a week and comparing results over a week.
F150 owners remove or disable them all the time, no issues. Can't see the Maverick being any different. They are there strictly for aerodynamics at higher speeds
Why is the collision repair center holding it hostage? You can drive the Maverick without active shutters. You may lose a few MPGs and it would throw an error code via a code reader but typically it wouldn't cause the check engine light to come on.
You should ask for the vehicle back and you...
The problem with KBB is that it grabs data from dealer websites. As we all know most dealer sites are auto populated with customer orders at MSRP, so the data is skewed lower on kbb
Anyone have luck selling their lightly used mavericks third party? Not to carvana/vroom, etc but listing on Facebook or the old sign in the window? If so what are your basic specs and what price did you get for it? I understand location plays a role too but just feeling the water.
I see...
