I run K&N on my Austin Healey but gave up on them in modern vehicles. I used to run them in my previous daily drivers but had a couple air mass issues which may or may not be related to the oil on the filters. Like you, I now just use a quality paper filter.
Have at it Canada. I sure miss that country. The name is still there, but the culture is mostly gone. I think it started to disappear when they began to import the Lada during the cold war, so the Chinese electrics will just continue their course to wherever. Best of luck with it.
Many years ago, when most cars had carburetors and ignition timing was static Consumer Reports did a test on octane and basically stated high test gas was a waste of money. That information for some reason has been passed down to present day. Today many engines are turbo charged and have an...
Those types of regulations are exactly why this country has the problems we have. Back in the day the people willing to tow long distance by strap seldom made it to 25 years of age. Now, now they live well into their 80s and many end up in Congress.
One last thing, If you're going XL to XL or any similar model to similar model you're golden. If not plan to use the harness currently on the door by unplugging everything inside the door and labeling it. then pass the wires through the main gromet. I have an XLT but found a Lariat door and of...
Pull the rubber cover on the side of the door. You'll see a small bolt head (I think it was 5mm). Put a socket on and extension and slowly start undoing the bolt while pulling the door handle out (use medium pressure pulling door handle out). When the door handle releases, take it right out (a...
I didn't move from an Edge but did move from an Audi Q5 that was loaded. I don't miss any of the features (what the hay, I can turn my wipers on when it's starts raining). I can say the Audi rode better and was quieter, but not enough to warrant the cost.
The words EV and truck in a sentence makes no sense to me at this time but that's because I do truck things with mine. EVs are not very good at truck things, short of a couple hundred pounds of cargo that will not fit in the average hatch or trunk.
If it's a buyback, it has a carfax. Sounds more like a service loaner to me. I'm pretty sure the dealer has to divulge if it was a buy back and am pretty sure they can't sell it as new if it was.
Not to worry, Ford has you covered. Just drive true North, stop the truck and look at which way the shadow from your antenna is pointing. It's a built in sundial.
Since more people die from medical mistakes in the USA than guns, I can only assume it's also illegal for a doctor to drive through a school zone. Some laws are just befuddling to me. A school zone ban on guns will certainly work. I'm sure armed felons are busy programing their GPS to avoid...
