Turn that around my friend. Not a lot of words to read. Heck, send your OP to a grade school English teacher and ask what it means. Problem with not knowing is you don't know.
Well, not applicable to my EB Maverick (68 MPH seems to be the sweet spot for MPG for most of my driving) and doubtful that most other vehicles will respond as you indicate. Even other 2022 EB Mavericks will be different than mine depending on many factors: hills, weather, tires, load. fuel and...
Your response made me smile so I looked at the bio on the side of your post. Go figure, Alberta. I'm retired from the oil and gas industry. I loved dealing with the folks in Alberta. Issues were just issues to be taken care of without getting all bent out of shape and a little humor was usually...
Not sure how many miles on your truck but frequent oil changes are better. I have over 40K on mine and just before the 40K oil change I checked my oil. With 5K miles on the oil, it was still a golden-yellow color and at the right level.
It looks really good but in addition to questions an air temperature (as we all know cooler air is denser than warm) I am not a fan of oiled filters on turbos.
Wow, that seems like it's easier than messing with getting it in the maintenance mode. I don't see where you could mess up unless you're one of those hammer mechanics.
I've been to 3 different dealers with my Maverick. 2 were good, one I'll never go back to. My truck was full of grease, smelled of BO and my seatbelt wouldn't retrack. My wife had her Escape oil change there and a month later she went to add wiper fluid and found her radiator overflow cap on the...
Good video. Turbos have come a long way, but every issue mentioned in video is valid. Just an interesting fact: I have 40K miles on my EB and just had the oil changed, which I do every 5K. Just before heading to the dealer for the oil change (at 70 I don't feel like doing it anymore, even with...
I actually had this happen last October. I was leaving for a long trip and had the idiot light come on. I shut the truck off, went and got my volt meter and when I returned and started it back up, all was fine. I haven't had the issue since but only used the trailer once since. It's good that an...
When I rode in the back of my Maverick, I was surprised how loud it was. I did put sound insulation behind the back seat but when I was able to get back there for a ride it was still loud. However, on my second ride I noticed a huge difference in noise depending on the road surface. Currently...
EV trucks have a very limited market. From an environmental view they scare me more than GHGs from gas engines. If politicians weren't so stupid they'd be putting additional cost on EVs and not be giving tax credits. Batteries are nasty things to dispose of. Additionally, climate science has...
Both times it was prior to any cleaning. Both times it was on an Audi 2.0 with under 50K miles. It might be an issue on Audis as correlation doesn't mean causation. But I'm playing it safe with paper.
