Most turbo charged engines work better with 91 octane, however before I ordered my XLT ecoboost, Ford info stated this engine/turbo was designed for 87 octane.
I have gone 5,000 miles
combo, average MPG is 29.5. No towing.
Ordered my XLT last July, got it in November. Worked with Sons Ford on Auburn. Of course it Cyber Orange with Blue trim. Just put 18" Bronco Sport rims on it, really a good upgrade.
I am upgrading my XLT wheels next week. I will have the original wheels for sale then. No lugs, no sensors or valve stems - will take $400 plus freight.
I am in Alabama. Text if interested : 334-354-1436
New small truck, Cyber Orange- yes curious people all the time. Had some good conversations. A LOT of people want one but can't find one. Got mine in November and still loving it.
Great topic, we all do things to protect our new Mavericks!! You are probably still getting people coming up to see it. And yes parking far away is a good way to get some steps in. Us old guys use to say
"Keep On Trucking".
An earlier post had mentioned Bullet of Marietta (GA) for a colored liner. He charges $429 for liner, $200 for colored, $629 plus tax. It was worth the 2 hour drive for me.
I love my Cyber Orange, get compliments all the time. It is great that Ford let's everyone choose color. Remember, good things are worth waiting for!! But "something free" for waiting on the recalls would be appropriate.
Thanks for the info on the MRT struts, watched the video, ordered them. Sounds like some folks like to create their own option but some like life to be simple. Either choice we make, it is a positive upgrade!!
I ordered the bed lighting which is dealer installed. They are really cool lighting for that price. Dealer had a little challenge getting them installed but they are great lighting for bed.
Thanks Rob for the pictures with the Bushwacker Flares. I bought some for my XLT, decided to match Cyber Orange body color. I like the way flares look.
I have found "the cubby" hole is the perfect place to kept my face mask. Even if you don't wear one a lot, there are always hospitals, restaurants, etc that require one - so I have it. Ford just didn't want to tell you what it was for, another safety feature.
The trains that carry the Mavericks out of Mexico are not that fast. Then they drop them off at train station near you to be picked up by car hauler (also not fast). I suspect Ford did ship, the transportation just takes more time these days. Stay strong, good things are worth waiting for!
