One of the values to reading MTC - learning of upgrades, maintenance, etc.
I had a transmission flush done at 45,000 - even my Ford dealer service tech said that was the correct move (actually did the 50,000 mile service suggestions done at same time). Yes, I am old school and have oil...
Yes, ordered sunroof on my 2022XLT.
Always enjoy the breeze and looking up to God's beautiful sky. Closest thing to T-tops on my 72 Corvette. Wish I had that back.
Enjoy Auburn when you visit, it's a great small city to live in, even for a lot of us retired folks. I drove a Chevy Nova and my handle was Novacaine. Huntsville, AL is known as "Rocket City".
Congratulations on the new grandchild - nothing like'em!
OK, I am surprised so many Maverick drivers have radar detectors. Maybe CB radio entertainment is needed? Use to enjoy listening to some crazy stuff. Trying to remember, wasn't a 10-30 code for smokey? And of course the mile marker.
Ordered my 22XLT when Ford opened the order bank July 2021, got it Nov 2022. Been fun to add fender flares, fog lights, LED tail lights, body side molding, colored bedliner, interior trim, paint bumpers. Have 53,200 miles. Been very satisfied.
I purchase the Panda Motorworks LED sequential tail lights (OK I'm a Mustang owner - always liked the sequential). Love the brightness and the patterns on them. I got the smoked version since my 2022 Maverick is cyber orange.
Earlier discussions on extended warranty led me to purchasing the 10/100 program also. But you are correct, it is really only 7 months, 64K miles more than factory warranty. Still worth it if you plan on keeping Maverick for a while.
OK old timers (like me) - who has the oldest Ford vehicle window sticker? I was looking at my 1972 Ford Pinto one yesterday. They use to call the VIN number the serial number.
I have 22 XLT cyber orange, painted bumpers, fender flares, etc - ordered it when Ford opened the window to order. Got it in Nov of 21, I get compliments all the time. To each his own, I just think white, black, grey is very common and boring.
Looks like this 26 has perfect place for fog lights...
Shortly after getting my new 22 Maverick XLT, I found a set of 18" Ford Bronco Sport rims, bought the Michelin Cross Climate tires and installed. I have 46,000 miles on them and still great tread left - yes I rotate with oil change every 5,000 miles. Best tires every for me.
Looks like many of our Maverick brothers have more in common that the trucks. Cancer strikes so many people. I can tell you are planning how to fight the health battles along with the finances. Stay strong and know God has a plan.
My 2011 Ranger was 2 door, my grandchildren were getting too big to get in back. One of the main reasons I ordered Maverick when first offered, was 4 doors. Yes, they have been in back many times in 4 years!! Love the space too.
One of the first changes I made on my 2022 XLT (after adding hood struts), was installing 19" Bronco Sport wheels/tires. OK, just for looks, but after 4 years (47,000 miles) they still look good. Easy to sell original wheels to an XL owner too.
Mavericks are just fun to customize for each owner.
