  1. Here's the bed option i want

I traded my 2007 Element for my current Maverick. I concur - what a great vehicle!
  2. 12V "Cigarette Lighter" power stays on after turning off my 2025 Maverick Lariat

I don't think it's a good idea. USB voltage is 5V, which means such an adapter would be a boost converter, meaning it will attempt to step up 5V to 12V. A radar detector needs steady 12V power at around 0.2–0.5A (2.4W–6W), and most USB ports are not designed to handle that kind of conversion...
  3. 12V "Cigarette Lighter" power stays on after turning off my 2025 Maverick Lariat

Yeah, the cord will not reach, and I would lose the ability to press the "mute" button on the connector. Maybe I'll just start doing that, too. Thanks!
  4. 12V "Cigarette Lighter" power stays on after turning off my 2025 Maverick Lariat

I literally just posted above... Consider it my answer to your posting 🙂 Thanks.
  5. 12V "Cigarette Lighter" power stays on after turning off my 2025 Maverick Lariat

I am finding other threads now saying that some Maverick owners have changed the setting from the default 90 minutes to a shorter period of time using Forscan. But I am hesitant to mess with a third-party application, especially developed in Russia. I guess I'll just be mindful about what I plug...
  6. 12V "Cigarette Lighter" power stays on after turning off my 2025 Maverick Lariat

That's inconsistent with the rest of the group... Have you made any modifications?
  7. Fuel fill-up question

Here is what Geminiđź”· thinks. Condensation in Fuel Tanks I find this part especially relevant:
  8. Fuel fill-up question

    I do. Mortals... 🙂
  9. Fuel fill-up question

From my research, 2 reasons: The more air you have in your tank, especially in cold weather, the more condensation will form. And you don't want water in your tank. Fuel pump is cooled by fuel, so you don't want to go too low on gas. I am not a mechanic, but I follow this rule just in case...
  10. 12V "Cigarette Lighter" power stays on after turning off my 2025 Maverick Lariat

Hi all, when I turn off my vehicle, my radar detector that is plugged into the 12V "cigarette lighter" power outlet below the dashboard stays powered on. At some point eventually it turns off, I know it takes more than 10 minutes, but less than 8 hours 🙂 Does anyone know how long exactly the 12V...
  11. 3D Print Tailgate Letters

That's what I got, also for the points. Love them.
  12. So Sad, Too Bad... dreaded rear-ended

They gave me a choice to surrender the vehicle and get a full payment, or to keep it and get a partial payment. This is actually the second time this happened in our family - several years back, son's Subaru Impreza had hail damage, and we were presented with the same choices. Son ended up...
  13. Car wash question (water gets into the bed - is that normal?)

Some water in my truck bed does not bother me. I mostly wanted to know if that was normal, and since that is, I am not worried.
  14. Lariat Envy?

I love my 2025 Lariat and absolutely recommend it. I think the price difference is totally worth it. However, I cannot justify getting an XTL and upgrading it a month later - that sounds very wasteful to me. Once I buy a vehicle, I keep it for 10 years or more. So if you can afford losing...
