Ford CSR I just spoke to confirmed my 2023 rollover order and also gave me my $2750 Private Offer Certificate number. But she won't give me the priority code explaining that they are not trained to answer that question and I should contact my dealer.
But then she said I could guess what my...
Thanks for posting these commercials, I needed some laughs today. I'd never seen them so surfed in internet to see if there was more.
I'll pay-it-forward with a link to a YouTube video that has multiple Trunk Monkey ads in one place, got to be 10+ ads. Enjoy!
I'd think by next Spring there will be a better contingent of Maverick owners in northern Illinois (and NW Indiana, etc). I'd be interested in attending whether I have my 2023 rollover or not. Even if I don't have mine yet I can to see the different colors, trim levels, accessories added, etc...
Thanks for the review! I'm still waiting on a similar build as mine was pushed into MY2023.
Please keep us updated on MPGs as you get more familiar with the Hybrid drivetrain in your Lariat Lux Hybrid. I think the EV coach will help the transition to the Hybrid driving techniques.
If your dealer completed the 2022 to 2023 rollover correctly you should get a private offer from Ford (ie a rebate) for $1750 on a Ecoboost or $2750 on a Hybrid. That offsets some of the increased pricing.
I say "should get a private offer" because the rollover procedures seem to be beyond the...
To add more to the OP's comments on results of each test. If you click through to view on YouTube you can read the ratings for each impact in the expanded text under the videos. Driver position got 5 out of 5 stars in each test. Passenger got 4 stars in first frontal impact, and 5 stars in...
I bought a used 197? 2dr Maverick Grabber in that bright green color while I was in college. This car replaced a used red Gremlin X that fell apart in under 2 years. Cold northern Wisconsin winters just ate these econoboxs alive!
The "spiffy" Grabber pkg included black body decals...
Tim, I nominate your for Maverick sainthood!!! 🎗 "Saint Timothy of Maverickland" has a nice ring to it.
Plus I think you've earned one of those lifetime achievement degrees (psychiatric in this case) like they give to caring priests and nuns, etc. That's because you've helped many Maverick...
While I'm suppose to get my 2022...err...2023 someday, I still enjoy seeing articles like this as I think it proves Ford conservatively rated the towing capacity for the Mav, and especially for an EB with 4K.
Just shows the overall build specs of the Mav (ie longer wheelbase, suspension &brake...
I'm in Elmhurst, about the center of the Chicagoland. I'd meet somewhere to commiserate about our phantom Mavs.
But I think we need to get a few local Mav owners to join us so we can see what unicorn Mavericks really looks like in different trims/colors. But we'll treat them as a mirage/ghost...
While a Hybrid Maverick has a much smaller battery pack compared to an EV vehicle, its still a LITHIUM battery so it contains all the inherent dangers of a larger EV lithium battery if submerged and water gets inside the battery pack.
I'm not well-versed on all previous Hybrids, but as an...
Got the Ford email yesterday (10/18) stating moved to a 11/28 build week so thought "whew, I just made it as a 2022 build". After seeing a few other late November builds get pushed back today, I just called Ford CS and was informed I now have a dreaded December 19th date. So its now a 2023...
Wow...this thread just topped 2500 messages! Seems lots of us ordered a year ago this month. Some are getting trucks delivered, some are tracking shipping, and others are still waiting for our Mav will be built (me included). And there's even some who didn't get a MY22 VIN, hope all that...
Well...I thought I had a firmer build week when I got a Ford email stating the week of 11/7 about 10 days ago, and I haven't received an updated email since. So I called Ford CS today.
I've been moved back to the week of 11/28 along with many others into late Nov/early Dec build weeks. Seems...
Many folks have lost faith in CR as a totally methodical resource, and I haven't used then for years since many of their reviews/item comparisons are well-aged by the time they publish it (recommending last years model that's no longer available, etc). Altho CR's non-sponsorship model is...
I'll join, but I m only at Nov 7 build week currently. I imagine I'll be bumped to Nov 14th week next week. You can see in my signature below that I've been bumped numerous times in the last 60 days.
Its getting old. First your don't know if you're going to get built for MY22. Then you feel...
See my signature below. I've been bumped backwards through Sept and October build weeks, now to Nov 7th week as of yesterday's email. Only conciliation is still being eligible for the lower interest financing and price protection, but basically it will be a year old vehicle when (IF) I get...
