I took it to the dealership yesterday for my 3rd battery replacement in under 5000 miles and they pretended like it wasn’t a common issue or that ford even acknowledged there’s a problem with mavericks draining batteries. I think I’m going to take a loss and trade mine for something else

I see damn I need this.. 2nd battery only 4000 miles and it keeps randomly draining on me, pretty annoying.

yeah from what I've seen in other vehicles most are higher with a spacer which I don't mind. The utopia's are only 2 inches so with a spacer there should be enough room even if the piece under doesn't come out.. I guess I'll find out soon when I get some time next week.

I'm actually going to be using the utopia mid range and was told the corner dash would be the best place for it in a maverick which is why I like it put it there if possible

Does anyone know if the bolt in the picture removes the entire part where the tweeter is? I want to install 3.5” mids in the corner dash. Has anyone done this on a maverick yet?

Do you know how much is available to use out of that? wondering what the maximum safe amps/wattage i can use for a sound system

Does anyone know where the clips are on the dome light/sunglass or can point me to thread or video? I have a rattle up there that I want to fix but i don't want to break the clips.. I've only found one video and it was for a lariat with the sunroof and he ended up taking out the whole top...

Yeah I didn't really think it would make a difference since it was still going through the head unit but it sounds much cleaner vs my phone. I think I'm going to end up hooking it up straight to the dsp.

sound quality... only worth it if you have a high end sound system with high end speakers. If it was a stock sound system it wouldn't matter but with a high end system you can really tell the sound quality difference of a dap vs a phone

I'm trying to avoid bluetooth, the sound quality is pretty bad.. I would just use the phone if it was the only option. I upgraded the sound system and you can really tell the difference when playing through bluetooth.
