The viofo is pretty highly recommend but I went with a pelsee digital mirror for the same price. They're pretty cool and come with the wired rear camera. Chose it over the wolfbox because the quality seemed better than the equivalent models.
I have the Lariat with the machine and also think they're terrible but take a look at the BAP wheel, they're just the same wheels without the machine surfaces - you could get the lariat wheels powder coated (or painted) for cheaper and keep your same wheels. If you like the unpainted steelies...
More of a mod than new wheels but anything is better than the stock 2025 Lariat wheels. Might still go full plastidip but vinyl overlays are good enough for right now.
Haha answer the question vs. just spitting off circumstantial knowledge. I've never seen ESP before but it seems like it's designed for cars with emissions reducing systems like the GPF in future Ford Mavericks but it's not clear to me how it would help unless you're burning oil. It seems like...
Biggest problem with it though is it defaults to no- so it's the same number of button presses as shifting from normal mode. It's pretty annoying - I wish there was a way to request feature updates.
Different thread than the 910s - 2025s take 6.1 qts vs 5.5 on previous gen. Just got done looking this up myself -rnded up just using the dealer and Ford pass points though. O'Reilly's seems to sell it though. Rock Auto has its for around $5 if you plan ahead but they don't have 2025 Ecoboost...
If you call your insurance company that would cause you to have a claim on file and likely negatively affect your premiums and also goes as "minor/major" damage on your vehicle history. If you backed in to your trailer after the recall was issued then you're not likely to be entitled to anything...
The hybrid excels at stop and go, the Ecoboost absolutely sucks - you can see your average MPG drop in realtime every time you come from a stop- that's why you might as well floor it with the Ecoboost and have fun.
The refreshed Crosstrek, 150 HP when it was new maybe. It was everything I needed and nothing more. When the the 2028 model refresh comes out I'll reassess if I want the Ecoboost still.
Right, i was under the assumption that the engine was mostly the same so i was surprised when i saw the difference - if you look around some of the other ford engines (mostly the 2.3s EB) they were updated in the same way a few years ago. The 2024s are unchanged though. I actually went down the...
Unfortunate, i do like the auto start stop for when i'm waiting a long lights but i don't want it in stop and go traffic. Sport mode is perfect but the throttle is too responsive for daily driving.
Lol that's what I'm saying is sketchier than Jack stands- controlling the throttle and it being AWD vs just lifting each (or one) side up. Ramps are faster but the screw negate any savings anyway.
I had a Crosstrek and installed a fumoto valve which meant oil changes were super easy. Oil filter was on top, and it had a cutout on the plastic skid plate to reach the valve. The Ford seems like it wants to discourage people from doing so haha.
I was most likely going to just jack one or both...
Yeah that's why I'm considering letting the dealer do this first one. I wonder they can be replaced with thumbscrews. The fl2127 filter seems to be unavailable at parts sto
I was getting ready to change my oil @ ~1000 miles and I was looking up the capacity and Ford shows a very annoying 6.1 qts for a 2025 Ecoboost which was different than my first google searches- sure enough it did change from 2024 to 2025. I'm considering letting the dealer handle this first one...
There are plenty of cars available on lots to test drive both but the Hybrid is the better car to get- it's just more expensive. The hybrid is plenty capable and will have all the power you need and nothing more.
Before getting my Ecoboost I test drove the hybrid and I liked it, it was fine, it...
