Usually, my store in AL tends not to have the latest and greatest stuff people see across the country. I almost ordered on costco.com, but I stopped and checked in person on my way home and lucked out. They only had a few left and I got a set for my Mav and one for wife's CR-V.
yeah, usually you can find a discount code for Ford. Right now there is a 15% or 20% off. Still ends up being cheaper sometimes somewhere else like at Fairway depending on shipping costs.
wowā¦thatās awesome! It just so happens that I got a 3D printera few weeks ago and havenāt really done much with it. Iāve got some PETG. Will that be good or do I need ABS?
Same here. I ended going with the following. I can plug in an inverter to the 12v. Only thing I havenāt found is a light solution. The 12v plugs in bed donāt stay hot all the time.
Agreed on the instructions! Not reusing the tailgate screws worked out for me because I was missing one 7mm screw and the adhesion promoter from my kit. Luckily, the tailgate screws are the same length and thread pitch as the missing screw. Just needed a slightly bigger washer.
Youāre not supposed to reuse the original tailgate screws because of the washer. The instructions actually tell you to throw them away and use the new screws in package. Also, make sure you only go hand right on them. I think it says to torque to 1.8 ftlbs. I finished installing mine today.
I need this! I have an XLT and just ordered the perimeter plus module. I wonder if I get this fob if the remote stary button will work since mine didnt come with it.
Hi all. I finally got around to putting in the Ford DIBL. Overall, not too terribly hard and I'm overall satisfied with it. I did have a couple issues: 1) the hardware kit was missing one screw and washer and 2) the adhesion promoter was not in the kit either.
As many know, the cutouts on the...
Yes! I traded in my 2020 Civic LX a couple of weeks back for my Maverick and got $3k MORE than I paid for it 3 years ago. Granted, it was extremely well kept with 19k miles, but it is the lower trim level with basic features.
Did you ever decide on this? I'm thinking of ordering it myself. The difference between this one and the one you linked for the Ranger is that the one from Ford includes the plug-and-play harnesses that connect inline with each taillamp.
