Remove it. The thickness is negligible and it'll look cleaner than trying to apply around it..

Right?! My base trim level ‘20 Civic LX had auto up AND down for driver and front passenger. Also had adaptive crusade control and steering wheel mounted track buttons and power locking file filler door.

I was installing my soft roll up cover this afternoon. I had a tape measure to check I had equal length on side rails. Well, I put the tape measure on the bumper and opened the tailgate onto it. Got to small dents from tape measure belt clip. Hard to see unless you’re at an angle and minor paint...

This is from the drop-in bedliner instructions referencing reinstalltion of those bolts. It calls for 9 lb ft.

Yes, but only because we only had pea sized hail and no damage. I’ve got orders to cleanup garage to fit both vehicles in there. 😳

Sorry to hear, I had hail recently where I am and was fortunate enough to be able to pull in garage. I left wife’s car out in the driveway. 😆

Yeah, I went from a 2020 Civic LX and find my Maverick much more comfortable in all respects.

Yeah, but still a hassle plus out deductible, higher insurance rates, etc.

Glad you got it figured out! I liked the simplicity of the install, but having to run a wire from the battery to the back is probably going to dissuade me.
