Certainly a frustrating situation for a lot of folks, not just Maverick buyers, or potential buyers.
The bottom line is you will get your Maverick when you get your Maverick. Don't like the Ford fiasco? Don't buy it. Don't want to wait? Don't buy it. Can't get it exactly the way you want it...

National correspondent Bill Melugin has the latest from Spofford, Texas on 'Tucker Carlson Tonight'
I didn't post the link. On purpose...
If your Maverick arrives unmolested, be...
A number of days ago, I actually tried to post a thread regarding the video and included a link. I think the thread was deleted by a moderator within moments. The video was just a random news item I came across. The reporter was "imbedded" with law enforcement to include Texas DPS and probably...
On top of all of this, there is news video online showing folks from across the border riding the rails inside brand new vehicles being imported from Mexico. So, if your Maverick has a lived in look (or smell) when it arrives, that's why.
Seems like the vehicles would be locked, but I guess not.
Call them out. Do everyone a favor by naming the dealership. Maybe if enough people are aware of their issues, they will shop elsewhere and the dealer will realize that they need to improve.
I don't live in FL, but I have seen references regarding Mullinax Ford being a good place to buy from...
It appears that blind spot mirrors are included in XLT and Lariat packages. My government-issued Ford Fusion had the blind spot mirrors. I was on the road five days a week, and found the mirrors to be very useful. In my opinion, the mirrors are a good safety feature...
As stated early in this thread, white vehicles are cooler in hot, sunny weather.
Also: " The safest car color is white. White vehicles have a 12% lesser chance of accident involvement than black vehicles under all weather and lighting conditions. White provides a lot of contrast between the...
I can certainly see your point as I have read that some dealers will be asking $2K over MRSP on stock units. It seems like there is a ratio regarding the allocation of stock units, wherein the more customer orders a dealer gets, the more stock units they are allocated.
I appreciate all of the information thus far. This is what I'm working with:
XLT with carpeted floor trays, 110v inverter, spray-in bed liner, trailer hitch and Co-Pilot 360
MRSP - $23,740
Invoice - $23,193
Invoice -3% - $22,497 (Granger Ford)
Plus delivery - $1,495
Doc fees - ???
I think...
The first responder discount is $500. If Ford offers any additional offers, I guess even MRSP isn't a bad deal. If Granger doesn't do CDs, shipping or a rental car/motel/meal expenses would almost equal the savings at Granger.
I think I read that Chapman is ending their invoice -4% deal. I...
I hope to order an XLT with floor trays, 110v, spray-in bed liner, trailer hitch and 360. I am not in a rush to get the truck.
I am considering the following to get the best deal possible:
1. Granger Ford at invoice -3% with courtesy delivery within 2-3 hours drive from my home. Not sure if...
A dealer in Augusta had an Area 51 XLT Luxury for training last week. It was locked so I couldn't check out the interior, but I was still really impressed with the truck. I was told that they had 82 orders at that time.
Any Georgia dealerships matching, or coming close to, Granger or Chapman?
I was actually thinking Herlong in Edgefield would be a possibility, but not anymore. They should realize that part of something is better than all of nothing. A sale is a sale, which I think helps their ability to get stock vehicles.
How did you go about arranging the CD with Wade Ford?
Saw an Area 51 XLT Luxury at a dealership in Augusta, GA this past Tuesday. It was there for training. A salesman, who I somewhat know, told me that they had already sold 82 Mavericks. The Maverick was locked, so I couldn't check out the interior. Seeing one in person was far superior to...
