I am really fortunate to have a dealer who cares about the customer and a technician who really knows Mavericks especially since he owns one. I took mine in yesterday for service and had SSM 53801 done. So far, no deep sleep message. Lets hope it stays that way.
According to the tech...
I am assuming because there could be so many different reasons but I did experience your frustration. I tried so many different possibilities until I came up with my ultimate solution. As long as it's working, I am not going to try to figure out why! I did have this problem with both USB...
70 year old youngster here; bought mine because of its name. Took my road test at 16 in a family friend's Maverick. It had no power steering or brakes and was as low tech as you could get back in the day.
I have a 2022 First Edition Lariat and thus far, its been everything I expected. Even though I paid far less than today's model, I would still buy it again regardless of cost.
Congratulations on your new Maverick! I have the Ford soft cover and it has suit my needs. May I ask why you would opt to use the truck bed for hauling bikes as opposed to a trailer hitch mounted bike rack?
With all of those badass stickers holding your bumper and back window together, don't you think you could splurge for a 5.0 Coyote or the 7.3 Godzilla?
Looking forward to warm weather and the Coffee and Cars at Eastern Hills Mall (assuming it's still on). Here is a link to it and it can also be found on Facebook (https://www.facebook.com/buffalocarsandcoffee)

Mark...I understand your dilemma and feel for you. The point I am trying to make is yes...Ford intercoursed up. And they need to make good on those who suffer from this and are inconvenient by it to the point where they are disabled. Since this issue is pretty widespread, I wonder if anyone...
I am like....who cares????????? As long as the truck starts up faithfully every time, regardless of how long it could be sitting all by its lonesome self. If the app wants to tell me its in deep sleep, fine...I can still start up using the key fob. As always, the truck takes me wherever I...
Come on folks, you really haven't thought this out well. THINK, folks! THINK!
You're driving along with a truckload of friends after a pleasant dinner out. You suddenly have this urge to cut a loud drumrolling gastronomical expulsion. To avoid embarrassment especially if one of the...
I had mine replaced last month by Safelite. If you want OEM, you have to ask for it but there is no guarantee insurance will pay for it.
Just yesterday after a first frost and remote starting to warm it up, it started leaking along the top. Safelite is coming out next week to fix that.
This happens to be true. Warranty work depends on certain conditions. Outside of that requires additiional approval by Ford if it is to be covered as a warranty claim.
Thanks for the part numbers. The closest I can come to duplicating or exceeding the quality of OEM blades are those made by Trico. I've had them on my Accord which is my winter go to vehicle and they hold up well.
As for using alcohol, yes...I am aware they can dry out the rubber but I find...
If you're a DIY type of guy, take advantage of the "useless" cubby hole and mount a bracket. Then install one of these and re-program the truck to shift based on one of these...
It should cover all of the gears and park. If you're old like me, you'll remember Chrysler had a better idea with...
