Yes I had to remove the entire bumper cover. With Sam videoing the whole process and learning how to do it himself it probably took him longer. Since I watched him do it I knew what tools I needed and what to remove, beside that I am a mechanic and do this sort of thing for a living.
They came with it. It looks like there might be two different options, ones with the additional lights and one without. I think the ones with look better.
I got mine from Touch Up Direct. I used my own primer that I have used for other painting projects and it ended up crinkling the paint and messing it up, I had to strip the paint and restart with Touch Up Directs Primer, it then turned out really good. You can buy it all as a kit in spray form...
I installed the Raptor style grill on my Hybrid Maverick. Painted the FORD to match the Hot Pepper Red. I like the way it looks, I wanted something in the grill to pop rather than just all being Black. I hooked all the lights to the Passenger side Marker Light in the bumper and then wired the...
Still need AWD for 4K Tow Package, it cannot be on the Tremor or the Advanced AWD which is on the Tremor, probably something to do with the dual clutch rear end in the Advanced AWD in the Tremor.
So looking at the grill on Ebay does it come with all the letters to spell out FORD, the pictures of it only show the F and R? Also does it come with the wiring for the lights in the grill?
Nice review. 25,000 miles and only 2 oil changes? That seems a little far between oil changes for me. I have almost 18,000 on my Hybrid and have done 4 oil changes. Yes the plastics scratch but I am really aware of it and make a point not to rub them getting in or out of the truck. Overall I...
I have an 2022 XLT Hybrid with the Lux Package and I would not change it for anything. I absolutely love it. I drive mostly Highway and still get 38-40mpg. I even tow a 1500pnd tent trailer with it and have no problems with lack of power or anything and I still get better fuel mileage than the...
Sorry to say but you will not be able to change your order. You cannot change engine options, ie: Hybrid to EcoBoost or trim levels, ie: XL to XLT, etc. So I guess you are stuck with the Hybrid. You can add options and packages to your new order to make it like what you had but like you said a...
I cut mine apart the other day to inspect it and it looked good. Built date was January 11th. Reheat shrunk it all and bolted back into place. Hopefully will not have a problem with it.
I did a trip with my family to Colorado Springs from Central Washington through Montana, Wyoming and into Colorado, over 3000 miles round trip, did 80+on the freeways in Montana and Wyoming and had no stability issues. I had my wife and two kids in the cab and the bed was fully loaded with...
It says that in the event of an Engine Failure oil and fuel may come into contact with an ignition source and cause fire. I think just about any engine failure that is bad enough to cause oil and fuel to come out of the engine will cause a fire, not just the 2.5 Hybrid. Think of all the engine...
I am at 7800 miles on my XLT Hybrid and I have about 7.5/32nds on mine front and rear. We will have to see how much more they wear at 10,000 miles. New they are only 8/32nds so at 4/32nds you are only half way worn out, so you should at least see another 8,000 miles before they are completely...
