I already had an agreement for a cash deal on my 2011 Escape before my Maverick even arrived. Sold it for cash, took the cash to an audio shop and had a killer audio system installed! (I got a cash discount) I put the leftover cash in savings.

Interesting. I've always run 87 octane, and every time I use sport mode it seems to cruise at way too many RPMs...

I don't know about the original Mav, but my 2015 F150 did the same thing.

Hybrid was never an option for me. I wanted AWD, Tow package and more power under the hood. If the Hybrid were capable of all that - I would have at least test driven them back to back and see which one felt better.

Yeah - ya got me! I started thinking once done, it would take some effort to restore, so I put it on the back burner.

Update: Dealer found that a wire was routed incorrectly, and was chafing against "something". They are going to replace it and route it correctly. I'm going to ask them to show me when I pick it up, so I'll get more details. The person who called me said something like "it was put together...

I had a VERY strange thing happen with my 2024 Maverick this week... I was driving at highway speed, 60-65 mph when several warning lights & messages appeared. The truck started sputtering and I saw the low oil pressure warning, the emergency brake assist warning and some other warning...

I'm working on upgrading my standard audio system, and want to add a subwoofer. I don't want to put it under the rear seat - I want to use that space for actual storage. Anyone have pics or details of alternate locations like behind the rear seat or under the front seats? Thanks!
