I ordered in September like everyone else. My salesperson said 6-8 months delivery…..maybe he knew the deal, maybe that was his best available information. If he was more communicative, it wouldn’t be as annoying but as it stands it takes me calling him at least 3 times before he will call back...

Sadly I didn’t know that at the time I ordered. My salesman said 6-9 months before I would get it. Maybe he was blowing smoke or maybe that’s what he thought. If I didn’t know, I probably still would have ordered but had a more realistic expectation of the gamble.
Makes me wonder what’s the point…I ordered a 23 XL hybrid. I have at least a 70% chance of not being built before the model year ends. So let’s say they just roll me over. Did they change the way they handle all the previous year’s unsatisfied orders? Apparently not. Have they changed anything...
Meh, I figure that if reorder, Ford will plod along with the manufacture of the Maverick- I mean why change a thing when you still sell every unit - and I’ll get it sometime in 2024. Maybe by then the Stout will be reality and if the maverick is not on the horizon I’ll jump ship.
New person here, but been watching for a while. Ordered on 9/16/22. XL and hybrid…pretty much guaranteed no production apparently. I will probably reorder in July but honestly looking forward to the Toyota Stout. Have owned many a Ford with such love for the product, but Ford missed so many...
