green top(nd) Quaker state the old timers liked it for some reason( maybe henry ford liked it in the old flatheads) guaranteed sludge in no time, new Quaker state should be fine, the only use for a ND oil(probably because of foaming) would be some old compressors.
up charge city, the dealers are for the most part greedy=I usually add the 5 qt bottle and put a little more in from a qt bottle-do not overfill!.
I had an oil change special from "merchants" one time and the oil was almost coming out of the dipstick tube on any D21,the oil was hot I tried to let...
not the car I am talking about-it ran on e85 in the highway, self powered drags were to be driven to the meets, from one to another, only thing I would run nitrometh in would be a "Cox",
whoa, was that on fuel or e85? It surprised to find out what big burnouts on top fuel were for, speaking of which,I watched the "Deere Power team" trying to be competitive at Monterey VA,the over fueled under boosted things simplydidnt allow for Montereys wouldn't run, they would hook to the sled...
I would say so,not sure but a litre makes a difference(I love inline engines) I think the "trickster" may have been na,not sure though(if I want big power make mine "Goriga!")
a paving company owner had an explorer with a 302 said it"ran like hair!"no wonder I get confused. my dream f-100 is a 56" with a Windsor(or built Y Block) with a crown Vic suspension(blue metal flake, lowered sporting crager SS Mags.! can always dream.
!thanks for the info. Ah ha,the boy that put a 302 Windsor in a ranger, told me wrong thanks again,my advice these 4.6 engines are immortal grab one of these if you can find one, another question how do the sizes between a sport trac and a Maverick compare? and do some special edition Mavericks...
they used to put the 302 Windsor in the sport trac, wasn't that and escape chassis? fill me in( the coyote is a wide beast,it would be easier(space wise to install a hemi)
correct,a bit, ethanol has a btu content when its 10% of the blend you are hard pressed to see the difference, now their are other advantages to running non ethanol, particularly if your vehicle or implement sits a lot. If you leave e10 in a gas tank long enough its hard to get the vehicle started...
atkinson cycle engines use an entirely( sorta) different power stroke long on the power stroke .short on compression if my memory is correct they utilize rather high compression( could be wrong-Toyta claims upwards of 40% efficiency.
well you can bet your "sweet bippy" the MSRP will be almost $60 K for a moderate trim 4X,if they were cheap the fleets and idle rich would snap them up.( as happened with the Maverick,I remember some "Seppos" boasting they had one or two for the old lady and another high trim level on order for...
