  3. Short stubby antennas

it should be kept for emergencies like weather. AM has a longer reach but with more static.
  4. Short stubby antennas

AM always had a longer range but no stereo and it doesn't sound as good and cuts out under overpasses.
  5. Short stubby antennas

I had a lifetime subscription to XM Radio when I had my 2010 Taurus and listened to mostly channel 17. They have changed the programming since then and I really don't find much on there I like. They stopped offering the lifetime subscription too. You can get just music for $.9.99 a month but...

    I remember that movie.
  7. Short stubby antennas

I remember that craze. It lasted as long as the disco craze

  9. Short stubby antennas

seems to be a unanimous verdict
  10. Short stubby antennas

I stream most of my music from Pandora but that won’t work without cell reception. I would think satellite radio would be worth having if you travel a lot

I wonder if those that have tried that nubby radio antenna on Amazon has noticed any difference in reception
  12. A quick note on oil change of 2.5L Hybrid

There was no need to insult me. Some of these fluid change intervals are way too long, like lifetime fluids some say you can get away with. OEMs don't want your vehicle to last. They want to sell you a new one every few years. It isn't in their interests for your vehicle to last 300k miles. I...

  15. A quick note on oil change of 2.5L Hybrid

Doesn't matter to me. I am not going over 6000 miles. Oil is cheap. Engines are expensive.
  16. A quick note on oil change of 2.5L Hybrid

Dealers that have a quick lane will usually get you in and out in a couple of hours. I don't think I was there an hour at Fort Mill Ford back in Sept. Some dealers now will pick up your vehicle and service it and bring it back to you and some service your vehicle at your home or work, though I...
  17. Bedcover recommendations - Must open with tailgate up

I have the Ford hard tri-fold on mine and I really like it but it isn't cheap. I wanted the security of a hard cover. My truck will most be used like a car with a truck bed.
  18. Bedcover recommendations - Must open with tailgate up

I was going to say Roll n Lock but it will cost you a lot more than $700. I had one on my 96 Ranger and they are quality stuff
  19. A quick note on oil change of 2.5L Hybrid

That is what they say but if you only drive a few hundred or a couple thousand miles a year, a yearly oil change may be overkill. Many classic car owners may go a couple of years between changes. I may drive 4-6k miles a year and I do yearly oil changes. I won't go over 6k miles no matter what...
