I don't recall the airbag light coming on but I did see the ABS light on. These started very shortly after I got 2 codes 0353 and 0303 (misfire codes). Now my truck sits at the dealer and I honestly don't think they know what they are doing to figure it all out. They are blaming the misfire...
How was the connector faulty? Did it physically break? Was it burned or melted? Reason I ask is because I had a parking brake fault warning pop up on my dash. Thanks
Update: I went to the dealer Friday to check on the truck. Asked service advisor to see my truck. He proceeded to call the technician working on my truck......no answer. He went to go get the tech to take me to my truck but came back with my keys and said he couldn't find the tech and my truck...
Looks great. How is your front imaging with the tweeters mounted in the door sail like that? I ask because the door sail is slightly angled towards the windshield, away from the people in the car. Unless those tweeters have great off axis sound you won't be getting tje best sound with them...
Looks awesome. What type of paint did you use....single stage or base/clear? Did you shoot it out of a paint gun or rattle can? This is exactly what I plan on doing as soon as I get my EB maverick back from the dealer. It's in the shop for a cylinder 3 misfire with 1529 miles on the odometer. Thanks
How long ago did you work in said small engine shop? I've changed the oil twice in my EB and both times I have used Pennzoil Platinum Full Synthetic 5w30. So your saying the oil I've used is crap?
Oh OK. I haven't done the front yet. The rear is complete. The day I planned on doing the front my truck threw up 2 engine codes referring to a cylinder 3 misfire. Sucks....the truck only has 1529 miles and it's only literally 3 months old from build date. It is now at the ford dealer.
Are you talking about the rear shock lower bolts? The top doesn't have any bushings. I've never heard of that personally. How do the bushings get damaged by tightening/torque them not with the weight of the vehicle? I have a FWD maverick. Trying to educate myself? Thanks
I don't think it's actual break in oil per say. I don't think any manufacturer uses real break in oil anymore. It's just weird shit ford like to do to be different I guess. I could be wrong though. Just my 2 cents. Anyway I left fords oil in for alittle over 800 miles of the recommended 1000...
Where did you get those numbers from if you don't mind me asking. Those will be helpful to me since I just lowered my maverick too. But I too have a fwd version so the rear numbers won't be accurate for us. Thanks
How do you like them? I have the kfc-p71 set. They are the exact same as yours. Plus I have a set of the newly released pioneer ts-a653ch component set too. I haven't installed anything yet. Still debating which set to install. I'm favoring the pioneers because they were updated a few months...
I did 2 oil changes quickly to get out the green oil and any particles that might be in the oil from the engine break in. From here on out I will do 4000 mile intervals.
