Most 5 channel amps are going to be way higher than 30 amps or so. If you so happen to find a 5 channel amp at 30 amps or near there it will most likely be very underpowered to run a complete 5 channel system. Even with a class d amp. Most of the times the fuse amp ratings dictate the rms power...
Oh crap. Yesterday my truck started to hesitate, loss of power and wanting to stall. The check engine light came on too. I quickly pulled into a parking lot and shut the truck off (2-3 minutes after the problem started). I used my obdII reader to pull codes p0353 and p0303. Both are cylinder 3...
That's exactly why I parked it and haven't moved it since it first happened. I shut the truck down 2-3 minutes after the initial time it happened. I had it on just long enough to pull off the roadway and into a parking lot safely. I hope no damage was done to the engine in that time frame.
I saw your message alittle late. I just bought the $20 one from Walmart. I took pics of the reader plugged into my maverick displaying the 2 codes I pulled. As long as I have those pics the dealer can't screw me and say they didn't find a problem. Lol
Believe me I will. I'm going to go spend the night with my truck in the subway parking lot. I don't want to take a chance driving it at all.....my choice. This is my forever vehicle and I don't want to screw it up on the account of something I did that could've been avoided.
There is a whole big debate about it. I choose to prefill my oil filter so when you start the vehicle for the first time after an oil change there is already oil in the filter to be circulated throughout the engine. Without oil in the filter there is a very quick brief second of low oil pressure...
Here is an update. Couldn't find my obdII reader so I went and bought a new one. I pulled codes 0353 and 0303. Both indicating a cylinder 3 misfire. I'm afraid to drive it anywhere but it's parked at an isolated Subway about 5 miles from my house on the edge of town. Sucks because the ford...
No.....but mavericks dont have a great track record yett. That's just the way I roll. But back to the real issue at hand is the one I described in the first paragraph. Thanks
Hello. I have a 2024 EB ford maverick. Today I performed my 2nd oil change on her. She has 1526 miles so far on her. Confirmed oil was full 5.5 qts. Prefilled oil filter. 20 ft torque oil drain plug. She sat dor about 30 minutes then I proceeded to go pick up my granddaughter from school. 7-8...
How did you end up with the 7 watts per channel for the base system? That seems alittle low considering how loud it gets compared to say an aftermarket headunit that puts out 15 watts per channel and doesn't seem nearly as loud. So what would that end up being volt wise as a pre-amp voltage...
Looks great. Is that the 2 ohm dvc or 4 ohm dvc sub? How much power are you sending the sub. I have one of those subs arriving tomorrow. How do you like the sub? Thanks
You must have an awd maverick? That doesn't look like the solid rear axle. I just lowered the rear of my EB fwd and didn't have any issues. No real surprises popped up to speak of.
