I lost brain cells reading this thread. You can use the Kirkland oil in your maverick without any concern of having warranty issues. Also Costco doesn’t own an oil refinery and associated lubricants plant. A company called Warren oil blends the oil and throws a Kirkland or super tech sticker...

How much over sticker is the real question

An 8.4 mile trip is rather short to be comparing mpg numbers. With a trip that short minor changes in acceration, braking, and slower or faster traffic can really swing the average. I assume that's your work commute... I suggest driving it for a week and comparing results over a week.

The problem with KBB is that it grabs data from dealer websites. As we all know most dealer sites are auto populated with customer orders at MSRP, so the data is skewed lower on kbb
