I had an issue for a bit with my points after my maverick purchase. Turns out they applied my ford points to some other ford account with my name on it. I called customer service and they sorted it out
0w-20 full synthetic is what I use, I prefer the Walmart super tech brand, super cheap. I also change the filter every oil change, I find it surprising some people don’t - the motor craft filter is less that $5 at Walmart and Amazon.
Something else to note on the hybrid is that the onboard...
It’s mandated by the EPA that the auto start stop feature can only be used during fuel economy testing if it is activated every time the vehicle is turned on. This is why you will see 0 stock vehicles that allow you to disable the auto start stop and retain the memory. It’s worth 1-3mpg in testing
Looking good, I’d like to do the same to my incoming XL. How did you manage to get such a good deal on the wheels? Which black lugs did you end up using?
Happy to confirm that I also received a 6 digit offer code and the amount was for $3400. I had ordered an XLT hybrid in 2023, and my 2024 order is an XL hybrid. So this should be proof that the “can be applied to any 24 MY order configuration” is true even though most dealers will argue that.
interesting. I’ll check again next week and see what it’s at. I’m not too worried about it not getting built with order banks still being open demand has certainly seem to have subsided.
@fordvideoguy can you put these rumors to bed? Can we apply private offer to whatever 2024 configuration we want? In other words if I had a 2023 XLT hybrid ordered, can I order a 2024 XL or Lariat hybrid and use my $3400 private offer?
I’ll give it a try since they should have gotten this communication too. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt, it was only day 1 of ordering but I don’t think the rules changed from the previous year private offer.
If I had an XLT hybrid ordered in 2023 I’d get the $3400. Can I apply this $3400 to an XL hybrid order for 2024? My dealer seems to be under the impression that I can’t change trims/body code from 2023 to 2024 and still use the private offer. I’ve heard otherwise and am having trouble...
Can I assume we would be able to place a 2024 order for whatever trim and options we want? We wouldn’t have to submit an identical order as our 2023 to receive the protections right?
Won’t have much effect in my opinion. Most under recall are delivered, maybe a few weeks worth in transit that will be held up at dealers. Hybrid is still sold out and will undoubtedly sell out again on July 17th
I have a lariat with ~2600miles on it and would like to see if anyone wants to swap all 4 wheels and tires with me. I’m looking for fx4 or BAP wheels. Located in SW Louisiana near the Texas border and will consider meeting within a reasonable drive
