You're correct. Makes sense. Parts would be allocated to build an order that already had a dedicated VIN. I feel confident I'll get my 23. Still can't be good running out of wheels and tires. Though I would really like the optional machined 17 inchers.

Well, I have a VIN # for a 23 xlt and a build week 9/4 and they are running out of wheels and already out of tires. What a cluster. This doesn't bode well for any 24 xlt's either I would imagine.. Same wheels and tires!

Just to expand on the snow tire topic. For the 2 sets of wheels crowd, how long are the winter and summer tires lasting. How many winters can you get before replacing the snows? How many summers? Or are you just running an all terrain tire all year and what's the life span in that scenario. Got...

Well, It turned out to be a good day. Just got a build date (week of Sept 6) and VIN # for my 23. What a roller coaster of a ride. Hope Ford's ramp up of 23 models works in your benefit.

Ordered a 23 Alto ECO AWD XLT in September. 22 not 21! Lux package, slider, full spare, EB heater. Wanted the FX4 wheels but not the FX4 package. Will look for a set later. Always liked the dark blue on anything. Probably a hard tonneau for snow loads.
